Triona’s top trends

I have finally found The One. No, for once I’m not talking about Will, but the one concealer I think I’ll be faithful to forever! That says a lot, as I’m a beauty whore! However, Charlotte Tilbury Magic Away Concealer, left, €30, is like nothing I’ve tried before. In fact, I’d go so far as saying that until now, I never really knew what it was like to love a concealer in the way lots of my beauty buddies seemed to (Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage springs to mind). It could possibly be because I’m no longer A young wan — back in the day, I could turn up for a shoot, having had no sleep, and no one would know. Now, I need all the make-up to make me look human! But back to this beauty. The sponge applicator is actually like a beauty blender, so you simply swipe on a little concealer, then smooth it out. Previously, I have found that concealers caked around my eyes, but this has a unique gummy texture that literally stretches over the complexion and resurfaces it like new skin. At the launch in London, Charlotte described it to me as “Spanx for your eyes”. Another pen-like product I’m going gaga for is the Benefit Brow Contour Pro 4-in-1 Defining & Highlighting Brow Pencil, below, €35. There are four elements to this press-and-click pencil: two shades of brow pencil, so you can fill the front of your brow in with the lighter shade, and use the darker one on the tail of your brow, as a make-up artist would do. There’s also an edge definer and a highlighter. The pen comes in five shades, so you can easily find the best combination for your hair and skin tone. Get theses two newbies now and thank me later!
