Sharon and new man get cosy over dinner
Peter Casey’s former PR, the beautiful Sharon Bannerton, won’t be moving in with — or even next door to — her new boyfriend for the time being. This is because, as she told your trusty diarist, “sure, I only met him... and sure, he doesn’t even live in Ireland”. Sharon and her new man — they have been dating since last November — were spotted enjoying a cosy dinner a deux last Friday in Dylan McGrath’s Shelbourne Social on Shelbourne Road.
Asked to describe the new love in her life, stunning Shazza told me that he is “very, very, very dashing. I can’t believe my luck. It is early days, but I thought you’d want some good news! He is a nice guy, successful, but extremely shy of the limelight”.
Are Sharon and her mystery new man in love? “Ah, here!” she spluttered.“Will you stop! If I’m still with him at Taste of Dublin” — Sharon’s sister Avril runs the threeday hipster foodie festival in Dublin’s Iveagh Gardens every summer — “this year I will formally introduce you,” the bedazzling blonde laughed.
More formally, Sharon and her successful PR company, are moving to Dame Street, no less.
“We need new offices due to the expansion of business.”
