The Great Arts Quiz answers

- Madeleine Keane Literary Editor

WE had a first this year in our annual test of wits. There was not one single all correct entry. As ever, ’twas the Picture Gallery that stumped our clever entrants. The answers kept me entertained as I opened envelope after envelope — Ian McEwan, Jon Snow, Donie Cassidy, Stephen P Kiernan, Micheal O Sulleabhain, even Michael Gove made an appearance. In fact our troublesome image was of William Wall, award-winning author of This is

the Country, Alice Falling and Grace’s Day. The first nearly all correct entry came from Julia Bannigan, who lives in Monaghan.

She wins a wonderful break for two people at the gorgeous Muckross Park Hotel & Spa. In the heart of Killarney’s National Park, just four kilometres from Killarney’s vibrant town centre, the five-star Muckross Park Hotel & Spa is a landmark stop on the Ring of Kerry and a destination full of character, luxury and history making it the perfect escape for a winter break.

Congratulations to Julia and well done to all who entered.
