Seann’s How to Cheat guide

- DONAL LYNCH

It’s been a month for brilliant new edicts on how to live. Hot the heels of Marie Kondo’s tidying up maxim “does it bring you joy” comes Seann Walsh’s motto on being a better love rat. “If you’re going to cheat, cheat indoors,” says the comedian and former Strictly Come Dancing contestant who was, of course, papped cavorting with a fellow dancer, prompting the end of his relationship with actor Rebecca Humphries. It was a reflective life lesson which, while not addressing any of his former girlfriend’s concerns about him calling her “psycho/nuts/ mental”, did at least seem somewhat practical. For one thing, the outdoors can play havoc with lustrous hairdos like Seann’s, and if his trysts happened outdoors in this weather, the lady could catch her death, so he is a gentleman after all. As if this sage life lesson wasn’t enough, Seann further laid on the charm with a lame joke, saying the whole episode had made him want to take his life… into the jungle”. Strictly’s loss is I’m a Celeb’s gain.
