Italian ristorante
The Cavaliere family are celebrating 30 years of their fine-dining Ristorante Rinuccini, which faces Kilkenny Castle. Last month, they kicked off the first of a series of events throughout 2019 with a Barolo Wine Dinner. It was hosted by Enzo Brezza of Azienda Agricola Brezza Giacomo & Figli, who paired wines with chef Antonio Cavaliere’s exquisite eight-course Piedmontese menu. Dishes included vitello tonnato of Kilkenny rose veal and fresh tuna, pictured above; hand-cut organic fresh pasta with wild boar ragu; and fresh fig sorbet marinated in Grappa di Barolo.
