Do you trust yourself?

When an inspired thought comes to you that opens your heart and makes you feel expansive, what do you do? Do you take action, or do you ask everyone around you to confirm that the thought is the right one for you? If you follow your heart, then congratulations, because you know who is in command: you! If, on the other hand, you are like most people and you like to have your actions confirmed by others, it’s time to shift and lift yourself into a different awareness and paradigm. You see, people can only answer you from their own limited-thinking place. I say limited thinking, because we have all been trained into a safety-first way of living and being. Don’t overstretch yourself, and certainly don’t take risks. Most inspired thoughts come from the infinite realm of opportunity, and this realm is available to all of us, if we open up to it. These thoughts will not be limited, safe thoughts, but rather thoughts and ideas that will require expansion. An expansion within you that will cause your life to expand, too. You see, life is always seeking to experience itself and expand through us. It’s our limited human-ness and limited thinking that always tries to stop us. Nothing great ever occurred or was experienced by playing it safe and staying small. What is trying to expand in you? What is the life you would love to live? Listen to the still, small voice within that answers. And trust yourself that you know what’s right for you!
