Only four clans remain in the competitio­n, and they will have to give it their all in front of judges Irial O Ceallaigh and Sinead Ni Uallachain and guest Moya Brennan if they are to win the prize of performing live at The Waterfront in Belfast and Vicar St with Nathan Carter.

Gary Carr, Thalissa Teixeira and Ariane Labed star in this drama about a couple from London who have their world turned upside down when they take in a lodger.

Charlotte Gray (2001) Channel 4, 12.20am

Cate Blanchett stars in this romantic drama set during the Second World War. It tells the story of a determined Scottish woman who is so desperate to rescue her Royal Air Force boyfriend who is lost in France during the fighting that she joins the French Resistance.

MONDAY

Shrek (2001) TG4, 12.35pm

Animation, with the voices of Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz and John Lithgow. A grumpy ogre embarks on a perilous quest to rescue a princess, but encounters many bumps in the road along the way.

Changing Ireland: My Big Idea RTE One, 8.30pm

This new series follows people whose ideas are helping to solve Ireland’s biggest social challenges, beginning with food waste and Men’s Sheds community projects.

Miss World 1970: Beauty Queens and Bedlam BBC Two, 9pm

Documentar­y revisiting the story of the 1970 Miss World contest that saw protesters disrupt the event — all while their feminist revolution was watched by an audience of millions.

Celebrate St Patrick’s Day RTE One, 10am

A special programme celebratin­g the saint and his teachings, featuring film footage of locations associated with him, alongside readings of his own words.

Guth Vibrations RTE One, 7pm

This new series follows four creative individual­s — an influencer, a podcaster, a rapper and a writer — as they explain how they found their artistic voice to express the things that they are most passionate about.

Drama, starring Sarah Greene, Moe Dunford and Ellie O’Halloran. A mother of four must find a way to protect her family after their landlord’s actions leave them homeless.

Grow, Cook, Eat RTE One, 7.30pm

Hosts Michael Kelly and Karen O’Donohoe are back for a new series of their fascinatin­g show, with each instalment teaching viewers how to grow a different vegetable. In this opener, they demonstrat­e how easy it is to grow broad beans, and learn about commercial onion growing.

Action comedy, with Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron and Alexandra Daddario. Devoted lifeguard Mitch Buchannon finds himself clashing with a cocky new recruit as his team attempt to bring an end to the criminals who are distributi­ng a dangerous new drug that is taking over their beach.

Mark Kermode’s Secrets of Cinema BBC Four, 9pm

The outspoken critic returns with a new series of his informativ­e analysis of movie-making, beginning with a study of blockbuste­r superhero flicks.

Logan (2017) Film4, 9pm

Gritty comicbook drama, with Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart and Dafne Keen. A world-weary Wolverine must help a frail Charles Xavier and a young mutant with deadly abilities to outrun the vile mercenarie­s who are out to capture the youngster.

FRIDAY

Big Narstie’s Big Adventure Channel 4, 11.05pm

The grime artist returns to Jamaica, where he gets a taste for the country’s vibrant culture, including dancehall artists and Bob Marley’s Tuff Gong studio.

Marvel’s Avengers Assemble (2012) BBC One, 11.15pm

Superhero action, featuring an A-list cast that includes Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson (below left). The finest heroes are brought together to take on the treacherou­s Loki, who has teamed with an alien species that looks to conquer Earth.

SATURDAY

All Round to Mrs Brown’s RTE One, 9.45pm

The mad matriarch and her chaotic clan return for another series of their anarchic chat show. In this opener they are joined by guests including Caitlyn Jenner, John Barrowman and The Script.

Kung Fu Panda (2008) RTE One, 6.35pm

Colourful and comical animated adventure, featuring the voices of Jack Black, Ian McShane and Angelina Jolie. A clumsy panda is chosen to be trained as the Dragon Warrior, the legendary defender of the Valley of Peace. However, the vile Tai Lung escapes from prison and looks to defeat the bumbling hero.
