Louise Stokes My favourite outfit:

-

Who:

Louise is the owner of Loulerie jewellery boutique on Chatham Street, D2, and loulerie.com.

What:

It was the last day of Paris Fashion Week and it was cold and raining, but I had a lot of appointments and a busy day, hence the flat boots. This jacket and skirt are from Zara, the belt is Isabel Marant from Costume, and my T-shirt is Lucy Nagle — the quality is amazing. The skirt was a rushed online Zara purchase for an event I was going to, and I also wear it with chunky sweatshirts and over-sized blouses. The boots are Anine Bing; I have two pairs and they are worth the investment; they are soft and comfortable to wear and a little edgy — which I love if the rest of my look is quite classic.

When:

Leather leggings, blazers and flat boots are my uniform day-to-day. For events, I invest in a few gorgeous pieces with amazing quality fabrics like silk or lace, which stand the test of time and I can change up with jewellery.

Where:

If it’s high street, I like to shop in Cos, Zara and & Other Stories. As a boutique owner, it’s so important to support other boutiques in Ireland. I bought a pair of Golden Goose trainers in Havana [in Donnybrook] recently.

Why:

I have a capsule wardrobe. I invest in lots of cashmere, silk tops, cotton blouses, chunky knits, jeans, blazers, long dresses and flat boots. That way, I can dress up or down for any occasion, and also wear my favourite pieces in summer and winter by adding or removing layers.

I like to add a little edge and find something different, so I love to find independent stores or designers. I also love to change up a dress or piece I have had in my wardrobe from years ago with something fun and new, such as Mignonne Gavigan earrings, as I find jewellery is so personal and can really put that individual stamp on your outfit.
