My Favourite Outfit:

Pat Kane

-

Who:

Pat Kane is the founder at reuzi, a shop providing products for sustainable living, located in Foxrock, Dublin 18, and online at reuzi.ie

What:

I am wearing a pair of YMC boyfriend jeans I bought at Scout, one of my favourites shops in Dublin; and a black T-shirt from Theo + George, another fantastic Irish brand with a huge focus on sustainability. Both are timeless and super versatile pieces. You can’t see them, but I have Veja sneakers on.

When:

I love neutral pieces that can be mixed with fun accessories such as a large handbag, a colourful scarf or a bold necklace — see Merle O’Grady for beautiful necklaces. A good jacket is an invaluable addition to any wardrobe. At work, I am all about comfort, and I’m often seen in dungarees. If I am ‘out-out’, my go-to pieces are skater dresses and maxi skirts.

Where:

The most sustainable piece of clothing out there is the one you already own, but I won’t lie, I am a sucker for Depop and vintage shops — there’s something special about finding something unique that’s not available in high-street shops. Mih jeans and People Tree are my favourite denim brands, and I also love supporting consciously crafted, local brands such as

Fauna Kids, Begley & Bowie, and

All Things Fiona-Lily. If I want something a bit more special,

Anya Hindmarch, Stella McCartney and Lucy Nagle are my go-to brands.

Why:

I’d say I am pretty eclectic and I certainly dress according to my mood — some days it’s all about basic and easy pieces, other days I want to wear leopard-print everything! Variety is the spice of life, and based on that, I would say I have a pretty spicy one!
