Tickets are now on sale for the Naomh Malachi 50th Anniversar­y celebratio­ns which take place on Saturday August 13th in the clubrooms. There will be a five-course meal with music and lively chat.

As part of the celebratio­ns Naomh Malachi are producing a documentar­y outlining the history of the club which will be shown on the night. The U14 team recorded a good 3-11 to 1-1 victory over St Fechins in the league in Termonfeck­in last Thursday evening. The Moninne team was Mark Byrne, Shane Shields, Stephen Yore, Neil McCarron, Brendan Prendergas­t, Sean McGill (0-2), Diarmuid McEneaney, Jack McCaughey, Ben Walsh (2-0), Cian Walsh (0-2), Conor Murphy (1-7), Daire Reilly, Cormac Brannigan, Aaron Mulholland, JackMulvih­ill. Subs Patrick Brady, Declan Nordone, Thomas Fogarty.

Five Moninne players, Mattie Fee (0-3), Feidhelm Joyce (1-4), Caoilte Curran O Rourke, James Murphy and Eoghan O Hora were all involved with the Louth U17 hurlers in their good 2-13 to 2-5 victory over Longford in the Celtic Cup in Cullion last Wednesday evening. Louth will now play the Dublin ‘Plunkett’ selection in a quarter final tomorrow night (Wednesday) at a Dublin venue at 7.30pm.

Our U8 team will be taking part in a Louth Coaching and Games blitz tonight (Tuesday) in Darver with the games starting at 7pm.

Our U14 squad are currently selling cards for a sponsored walk (Friday June 10) to raise funds for the upcoming trip to take part in the National Feile na nGael on the weekend of June 17 – June 19.

The Naomh Moninne Cul Camp this year will take place in Dowdallshi­ll from Monday 25th July to Friday 29th July. You can register your child at gaa.ie/kelloggscu­lcamps. The cost per child is €55 with a second child at €45.

2016 club membership is now being taken at the following rates – adult player €50, non player/student €25, juvenile €15, Family €50. LAST Tuesday’s club lotto numbers were 14, 17, 18, 21 and there was one match-three winner of €200. This Tuesday’s jackpot stands at €5,800.

The Kellogg’s Cul camp will be in our club from July 18th to 22nd with supervisor Niamh Kirk (083-3653921). Taylor Signs Ltd is sponsoring two prizes of €50 Elverys vouchers for any players from our club who registers online at www.culcamps.ie by June 30th.
