Some time later he joined his brother, Ben in another business Dundalk Electrical Wholesale, in which he worked until his illness intervened.

An exceptionally bright and intelligent man, Paul loved gardening when he lived in the family home in Dowdallshill, and when he moved into Cuchullain Terrace the absence of a garden took much of the joy out of his life.

Paul bore a great love and affection for children especially his nieces and nephews who he showered with love and generosity in their younger years. He was indeed the fun uncle who could always be relied upon to play and bring a smile to the children’s faces.
