THERE was no jackpot winner in Naomh Fionnbarra G.F.C. and St. Anne’s Camogie Club Lotto draw held on Wednesday 29th June. The winning numbers were 7, 8, 10 & 18. There were 2 match 3 winners James Butterly, Duddestown, Bridgie Molley, Siaca Pac who won €75 each. Next weeks jackpot stays at €10,000, with the reserve jackpot rising to €10,000. Tickets are available from the usual local outlets, Lotto sellers and any committee member. Funds raised from our Lotto draw go towards the running of the club and your support is greatly appreciate­d.

Our Under 14 girls joined forces with The Dreadnots for 2016 and reached the Division 2 league semi final. The game took place on Monday 20th June against Newtown Blues at 7pm in Drogheda. In what was a high scoring, excellent game with both teams fighting hard till the final whistle, the girls lost by a point! All managers/mentors are extremely proud of every single girl that togged out! Final Score: Newtown Blues 7-12 (33) Dreadnots/Naomh Fionnbarra 9-5 (32).

Our Ladies team were beaten by Glyde Rangers in the League on Monday night 3-11(20) to 2-5(11).

Naomh Fionnbarra/Lannleire U-16 team lost to Roche Emmets 1-11(14) to 7-6(27) in the Division 3 League Round 6 on Wednesday 29th June.

Our Ladies team recorded a good 3-11(20) to 2-11(17) win over St. Kevins in the League on Friday night.

Our Intermedia­te team also recorded a good 2-10(16) to 0-13(13) win over St. Mochtas in the Division 2 League on Friday night.

Played in sunny conditions excellent for football, Naomh Fionnbarra B played St. Brides B in Round 10 of the Division 4 League at Pairc an Chuinnigh, Knockbridg­e on Sunday evening 3rd July. The first half was a completely one sided affair. Half time score: Naomh Fionnbarra B 0-0(0) St. Brides B 1-14(17). The Barrs played better in the second half but the Brides lead was too much and they ran out easy winners. Final score: Naomh Fionnbarra B 1-8(11) St. Brides B 2-17(23). Our Intermedia­te team play in the First Round of the Intermedia­te Championsh­ip on Saturday 9th July v St. Mochta’s in Stabannon at 6:30pm.
