OUR senior team play their first game in the championsh­ip on Sunday against St Mary or Dundalk Gaels. The game is in Dunleer at 8pm and we would love to see all friends and supporters of the club turn out for this and cheer the lads on.

We are hosting a Kellogs Cul Camp this summer from August 8-14th. Anyone wishing to register can do so online and with places filling up its advisable to get it done asap.

Our u15 team travelled to Tullyallen and ran out 4-13 to 2-11 winners. It’s a very busy period on our two pitches with club champioshi­p games, underage training, blitzes, senior ladies and mens training and games. The club would like to thank Terry, Noel, Benny and Paddy for all their hard work in getting everything ready for games and training. We would also like to thank our two main sponsors Integral Gym and Western Motors for their continued support. Total Produce continue to help us in our healthy lifestyle campaign, supplying all kinds of fresh fruit to all of our underage and adult teams.

The annual golf classic is taking place on Friday 26th of August at Co Louth Golf Club and anyone wishing to put a team in or sponsor a tee or green can do so by calling the club anytime after 5pm.

The one wall nationals took place last werkend in Breaffy sports arena and a strong contingent from O Raghallaig­h handball club travelled over to the Castlebar venue. Representi­ng the club were: A Nelis, S Devlin, B Devlin, J Devlin, C Keeley, M McCullough, K King, M McCullough, B Caddell, C Caddell, C Faulkner.

Sean Devlin got to the Masters final but was eventually beaten by Eoin Kennedy from Dublin .

The pairing of Anthony Nelis and Kevin King got to the final of the challenger doubles and won well against their Mayo opponents to take the national title .

Next up is a trip to the Loughmacro­ry Showdown in Co Tyrone . The popularity of one wall handball is growing fast with over 600 competing at the nationals last weekend. It’s played by both men and ladies of all ages and different levels off ability. Any one interested should call O Raghallaig­h clubhouse after 5pm any day .
