RECENT BAPTISM

COMMUNITY ALERT

This year’s annual tour takes place on Thursday, July 28. Bus will leave the Church

car park at 10.00a.m, stop at Kealy’s for breakfast and proceed to Collins Barracks for a tour. Time permitting a stop at the Pavilion Shopping Centre, Swords will be had on the return via The Valley Inn for the evening meal. The cost of this tour is €25 per person. EMMETS GFC

The seniors were to play St Pats this weekend but due to the death of Pat Keenan, father of Paddy Keenan the St Pats v Sean O’Mahoney’s game on Saturday last was cancelled so Emmets and St Pats game won’t take place for a few weeks. Sympathy to the Keenan family on the death of Pat.

The U12, Kilkerley Emmets/ Naomh Malachi team play away to Glyde this Friday, July 22 at 7.30pm. The minors played at home to St Brides on Monday of this week. The U 16 team lost to St. Mary’s 2-16 to 0-6.

The U15 team play at 7.30pm away to St Patrick’s this Wednesday evening. The Girls U14 team played the league semi finals against Dowdallshi­ll/Roche on Monday of this week.

Well done to Caragh Brady and the County U16 girls on reaching the All Ireland final against Tipperary on July 27, following their great semi–final win over Tyrone at Inniskeen.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament takes place each Friday from 6.30p.m.-7.30p.m.

Please use the red bin in the centre of the graveyard for used flowers and wreaths only.

The painting of the Church is almost completed so thanks to all the families who contribute­d to the cost of this is work which to date has raised €20,295.50. The total cost is €40,000 and you can do so in the following ways: One payment of €250, pay €50 per month for five months or pay €25 per month for ten months. Special envelopes for this collection are included in the weekly envelope box.
