The first event with a St Peter’s athlete competing was the Girls Under-11, with Dearbhla Allen, out of her age group, trying really hard and finishing just outside the medals. In the Boys Under-11 Conor Litchfield and Jack McLaughlin both collected silverware and showed very encouraging signs.

Niamh Brady and Judith Bell ran well in the Girls Under-13, with Niamh inside the top 10 and Judith in 11th, even though both are still Under-12, as were the two boys who competed in the Boys Under-13 race, Sean Allen and Mark Litchfield.
