On Monday evening I headed for St. Louis School to catch up with the 6th year ladies who were getting ready to head off to Dunboyne to celebrate their Graduation Ball and by the time I got there the place was packed with people looking extremely well and ready to make the best of the night.

The first two ladies I had the pleasure of talking to were Sinead Cosgrove from Dunleer and Marian Ebbs from Louth Village who were looking just great and told me they couldn’t wait to get on the bus and get on with making it a fantastic night. They were there with Sinead’s proud mum Ann who had brought them to the school.

Dressed to impress and yes they certainly did, it was Yolanda Otabor from Lios Dubh and Samson Tewogbade from Blackrock who were in great form and looking forward to an epic night with all their friends.

Three ladies who were certainly looking stunning were Jennifer Harmon from Annagassan, Ellen Edwards from Knockbridge and Caitlin Tuite from Tallanstown who were looking forward to a wild and crazy ‘ G.N.O.’

After this I had the pleasure of meeting up with Blaithín Hughes from Blackrock who was with the extremely lucky Paul Gilgunn from Ardee Road who was also looking sharp and told me they were looking forward to some good food and a few drinks too.

I then caught up with my old friend Frankie and Bridie Walsh from Avondale Park who were proud to be there to see off their grandson Evan Duffy from Medebawn who was in the company of the delightful Sarah Devitt from Riverstown in Ardee and they were up for a wild and crazy night along with Fergal Mee from Quay Street and Sinead Breagy from Ardee who were looking Fantastic and were definitely ready to party the night away.

Not too long later I managed a few words with Amy Flynn from Knockbridge who had brought Thomas Hearty from Garrybawn who told me they were expecting a quiet night, that might pick up later on, funny I was thinking full on as soon as they got off the bus!

After this I made my way over to a group who included Nikayla Hamill from Blackrock who was with Liam Keenan, Amber Duffy and Caolán Dromiskin who were sporting the matching tie and dress ensemble, but were in form to party the night away and agreed it was going to be anything but a quiet night.

Making my way through the crowds I then got a word with Craig McHugh from Belfry Avenue who was on the arm of Leanne Carroll from McSwiney Street and Niamh McDonnell from Knockbridge and Dylan Courtney from Ardee who was looking very well and told me they were looking forward to a totally massive night with all their mates.

I was then corrected about who was with whom and was told that Melissa Lawrence from Haggardstown was actually with Craig McHugh and Aaron McGuigan from Glenwood was there with Leanne Carroll, how could I have made such a mistake, how indeed?

Not too long later I had the pleasure of meeting up with Cliodhna Kerr from Lis Na Dara with Conor Lewis originally form Portsmouth but now hanging his hat and extremely good looking suit in College Court. They told me they were armed and ready for an epic night.

After this I got a word with Taylor Reid from Muirhevnamor with his main squeeze Eimear Lavery from Bellewsbridge Road and both were looking great and in form to party along with Kyle Rogan from Castle Heights and Natasha Muckian from Louth Village, Megan McEneaney from Knockbridge and Jordan Mackin from Darver.

I then headed over for a chat with Alana Breen who was with Blake Brabazon both from Knockbridge who were with Tara Rogers from Ardee and Oisín Shields from Knockbridge, Nicole Hoey from Castletown Road and Arron McArdle from Knockbridge. The lads were definitely looking great in the suits, but alas pale into insignificance when compared to how well the ladies looked on the night.

As the buses got ready to head for Dunboyne I met up with Eilis Kilkenny from Roche who had brought Jack Sadlier from Castlebellingham and they were just about to jump on board along with Zara Matthews from Garrybawn and Daniel Dowling from Stillorgan who were in form for a major night of fun.

Finally, before I departed, I got a word with Liadain McDermott from Blackrock who was bringing Dylan Todd from Dromiskin who were looking exceptionally well and were rushing to get their seats as Liadain’s parents Seamus and Sadie looked on with a big happy smile.
