THERE are a limited number of places still available for our annual golf classic which takes place in County Louth Golf Club this Friday, so if there are any teams or individuals looking to play one of the best courses in the country contact Kevin in the clubhouse any time after 5pm.

The academy continues every Saturday morning at 11am and is growing in popularity every week. Our U-14s had a great win against Geraldines. Well done lads, keep up the hard work. The U-16/18 teams continus to train every Friday night and although some reults haven’t gone their way they remain a very focused and hard-working group.

Our annual coaches appreciation night will be held in the clubhouse this Friday at 9pm, with music and finger food.

Sixteen members of our hand- ball section travelled to Co Tyrone to take part in the last one wall tournement of the season and managed to take a few titles home - most notably John Boyle in the masters and Mark McCullough in the Men’s B - and a great weekend was had by all. One wall handball is the perfect workout for any age and is great for improving handto-eye co-ordination, so if there are any ladies or men’s footballers looking to keep in shape over the close season this would be the perfect way. Just call into the club for any info.

On Friday 16th September there will be a pre All-Ireland night and we will also be remembering the 91 and 01 men’s teams who won the Junior Championship on those occasions. In addition, our draw for a pair of All-Ireland tickets will take place that night.
