Minister praises Intact’s ‘vision for the future’ during site visit

Minister for Employment and Small Business Pat Breen visited Intact Software, a leading ERP and business management software provider, headquarte­red in Dundalk.

The CEO of Intact Software and recently appointed chairperso­n of the North East Regional Skills Forum, Justin Lawless, was delighted to welcome the minister to the state of the art facilities at in Blackthorn Business Park.

Speaking after the visit, Justin said: ‘Our drive for growth and expansion based on the very solid foundation­s we have built from within our headquarte­rs are attributes we are extremely proud of.’

He added: ‘ The Minister echoed this sentiment commenting on the positive impact Intact has had and will continue to have in the region.

‘As an Enterprise Ireland funded company, Intact Software’s exceptiona­l growth over the last few years has seen the company expand to a workforce of over 110 employees. The tech company provides all-in-one accounting and business management software to SMEs in 8 countries around the world’.

During his visit to Intact, Minister Breen said ‘ the government places great value on indigenous companies like Intact who have a local dedicated workforce, a strong growth record supported with a compelling product and vision for the future’.

He also visited Louth Local Enterprise Office where he met with LEO clients Paycheck Plus, Elemex Industrial Heating Solutions, Sing Li Foods and community enterprise centre Creative Spark.

He also met with Thomas McEvoy, Head of Enterprise, Joan Martin, CEO Louth County. Council and Paschal McGuire, Enterprise Ireland Regional Manager.
