Our club shop section has been added to the O’Neills website where you can purchase Naomh Malachi merchandis­e. A portion of the revenue from these sales will go back into the club. TRAINING for all juveniles U5 to U14 this week at the Fairgreen will be on Saturday afternoon from 2pm to 3pm with the usual €2 contributi­on still applying. New players are welcome.

Our senior team finished off the year on a high by capturing the Ulster Tain League Div 3 title in good style with an impressive 0-20 to 0-14 victory over Derrynoose (Armagh) at Cloghan on Saturday afternoon. The Moninne scorers were Diarmuid Murphy (0-7), Nigel Stanley (0-5), Ronan Geoghegan (0-2), Tadhg Moore (0-2), Niall Cafferkey (0-1), Oisin Drumm (01), Darren O Hanrahan (0-1), Eddie McArdle (0-1).

The U16 team recorded a good victory over local rivals Knockbridg­e in the Ulster league in Knockbridg­e last Thursday evening winning out by 3-19 to 0-3. The Moninne scorers were Darren Geoghegan (1-12), Ciaran McGlynn (1-3), Ultan McEneaney (0-3), Craig Callan (1-0) and Padraig Fallon (0-1).

Both our U8 and U10 teams took part in a very well organised blitz at St Marys School in Warrenpoin­t on Saturday. The U10 team played games against Keady, Cumann Pheadair Naofa, Ballyvarle­y and Middletown. The panel was James Byrne, Ryan Heaney, Aoife Cairns, Cathal Maguire, Shane McGuinness Smyth, Luke Haughey, Luke McCourt, Matthew Maloney and James Maloney.

The U8 team also played four games on the day against Clonduf, St Malachys, Middletown and Croabh Rua. The U8 panel was Mark Byrne, Molly O Callaghan,
