John Gray Snr., Avenue Road, Dundalk, who died suddenly at his residence on Monday, 26th September. Predecease­d by his wife Nancy (nee) Byrne, and very deeply regretted by his loving sons John and Gerard, daughter Olivia, brother Paddy, daughter in-law Fiona, grandchild­ren Nicky, Linda, Stephen and Paula, great - grandchild­ren Fiách, Lorcan and Eimear, brothers in-law Billy Byrne and John Lambe, sisters in-law Una Gray and Lily Romano, nephews, nieces, extended family relatives, neighbours and friends. Funeral arrangemen­ts later.

Philomena (Mena) Gill (née Ward), Drive 1, Muirhevnam­or, Dundalk, who died peacefully on 24 September in the tender and dedicated care of the staff of Blackrock Abbey Nursing Home, surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of Brendan and dear mother of Mary, Patrick, Brendan, Fiona and the late Kevin. She will be sadly missed by her sorrowing husband, daughters, sons, daughters-in-law Eileen and Sinead, sonsin-law Marty and Alan, grandchild­ren David, Conor, Emmet, Ultan, Lorcan, Feidhlim, Brendan, Katelyn, Isabelle, Elle, Erin and Cora, sister Mary, her relatives and many friends. Reposing at home from 1pm on Sunday. Removal on Monday at 1.20pm, to St. Joseph’s Redemptori­st Church, arriving for Mass at 2pm. Funeral afterwards to St. Patrick’s Cemetery.

James Atkinson, Mill Street, Dundalk, who died peacefully in Blackrock Clinic, on 23 September 2016. James, beloved husband of Madge (née Smyth) and dear father of Breda Ruddle and Mary Carroll. Deeply regretted by his wife, daughters, grandchild­ren Christina, Andrew, Niall, Paul, Garry, and Killian, sons-in-law Paddy Ruddle and Tony Carroll, nephew, relatives and friends. Reposing at his home from 2pm until 9pm on Sunday. Removal on Monday afternoon at 12.45pm to St. Patrick’s Cathedral, arriving for Mass at 1pm. Burial afterwards in St Patricks Cemetery.

Eileen Henry (née Hopkins), Castletown Road, Dundalk, who died peacefully on 23 September at her residence, surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of the late Frank and dear mother of Gerard and Catherine. She will be sadly missed by her loving son, daughter, daughter-in-law Ann, son-in-law Sean, grandchild­ren Conor, Ruth, Frank and Aimee, brother Benny, sisters Judy, Maureen and Philomena, brothers-inlaw, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Predecease­d by her brothers Andrew, Cyril, Nicky and Con and sisters Celine and Joan. Reposing at her residence from 12 noon to 7pm on Saturday and Sunday. Removal on Monday to St. Joseph’s Redemptori­st Church, arriving for Mass at 11am. Funeral afterwards to St. Patrick’s Cemetery.

James Coleman, Channonroc­k, Louth Village, who died peacefully in St Peter’s Nursing Home, Castlebell­ingham on 19 September. James beloved brother of the late Julia, Patsy, Maise, Teddy, Bridget and Edward. Deeply regretted by his sister-in-law Agnes née (Mc Geough), nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing in Mc Geough’s Funeral Home, Jocelyn Street, from 6pm until 8pm

on Monday and from 4pm until 8pm on Tuesday. Removal on Wednesday morning at 10.30am to Church of the Immaculate Conception, Louth, via Channonroc­k, arriving for Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
