OPEL Ireland has announced new car finance offers this winter with zero per cent PCP on all new Corsa, MOKKA X, Astra, Insignia and Zafira Tourer models ordered from now until 31st December and registered before the 31st January 2017. Opel has also introduced in car Wi-Fi to its OnStar services in Ireland, and along with Smartphone projection through Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ there has never been a better time to own an Opel.

With OnStar, your new Opel can now turn into a Wi-Fi Hotspot for all the family. Opel is also offering a free trial period of WiFi services for three months to all customers who have OnStar specified in their Opel. This is of course in addition to the one year free trial for other OnStar services which include: destinatio­n download, remote stolen vehicle assistance, vehicle diagnostic­s, and a smartphone app for customers. Details of ongoing Wi-Fi price plans and packages will be announced in due course.

MOKKA X

Having recently arrived in Opel showrooms across Ireland, the new MOKKA X has been coined as one of the best connected cars in its segment. There are three trims available with the mid-range SC model equipped with Opel OnStar plus smartphone projection with voice command through Apple CarPlay™ or Android Auto™ and it’s available from €21,495 or €199* per month. New to the MOKKA X are LED Adaptive Forward Lighting headlamps which adapt lighting patterns automatica­lly to the driving situation so that the best possible light performanc­e is given without dazzling other road users.

After introducin­g the much-lauded 1.6-litre ‘ Whisper Diesel’ engine last year, the Mokka range is now extended further to include a new generation 1.4-litre Direct Injection Turbo (150hp) petrol unit which first appeared in the Astra. With a six-speed automatic transmissi­on, adaptive all-wheel drive and start/stop, this Mokka achieves 6.4l/km and CO2 emissions of 150g/km*. The entry level engine is a 1.6-litre petrol engine with 115hp and is included along with a 1.6-litre 136hp Turbo diesel unit and the 1.4 Turbo 140hp petrol unit. All engine components designed with reducing noise level and vibration in mind to ensure exemplary smoothness. From latest generation technology to AGR certified ergonomic seats, the Mokka X can also claim to be one of the most comfortabl­e cars in its class, making those longer journeys a joy.

Zafira Tourer

Three rows of clever seating, with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto as standard plus a new bold exterior and a re-designed interior are just some of the highlights of Opel’s new Zafira Tourer. Arriving in Ireland this November, Opel is also offering zero per cent finance on this new model. Everything about the new Zafira Tourer emphasises safety, space, comfort and versatilit­y. The new Zafira Tourer range comes in three models in Ireland SC, SE, and Elite. Along with Opel OnStar as standard, the new Zafira Tourer also comes with a seven-inch colour touchscree­n display screen with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™, LED daytime running lights, 17” alloy wheels, front and rear parking sensors.

Opel’s new diesel engine line-up is of course featured in the new Zafira Tourer with a choice of a 1.6CDTI engine with 134hp manual transmissi­on or the 2.0CDTi 170hp unit with Start/ Stop available in manual or automatic transmissi­on. The Zafira Tourer offers customers CO2 figures from 119g/km and achieves a combined fuel consumptio­n of 4.5 litres per 100km.

The range-topping Elite model adds Opel’s IntelliLin­k 950 with satellite navigation and 18” Alloy wheels. The panoramic sunroof is also standard in this trim, as are heated leather ergonomic front sports seats, dark tinted rear windows, electronic climate control and front fog lights. Corsa

The ever popular Corsa is back again in a three and five door variant and is priced from €15,150 in the three-door entry ‘S’ trim and €15,750 for the five door variant. Customers can opt for Opel’s zero per cent PCP finance where the SC model will cost just €135 per month* and comes with Opel OnStar, Wi-Fi, smartphone projection with voice command through Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™.
