VEGAS NIGHT

Kilkerley Emmets hold a Crazy Vegas Experience Casino night in Crown Plaza Hotel Dundalk this Saturday, November 12, with doors open at 8.00pm. Tickets are €20 which includes $50 to get you started on the night. Tickets available from committee members. The purpose of the fundraiser is to raise money to finish our second pitch and to help with day to day running costs of the club which is over €40,000 each year. On the night there will be 5 Casino games: Blackjack (4 BJ tables); Roulette (2 tables); Texas Holdem (3 tables or more); Chuck a Luck; Carribeen Stud.

In addition to this there will be 4/5 Funfair/Carnival type games like: Hang Tough, Poker Darts, Wheel of Fortune, Hi Low etc. The ten people with most chips at end of night, after buy-ins will go on to play on a final Blackjack table for prizes valued in €1,000s. There is a Hang Tough competitio­n with a prize of €100 for the winner and other spot prizes on the night. There will be a best dressed couple competitio­n on the night, light finger food and DJ playing. This is a ideal occasion as party night out for groups in the run up to Xmas. A night not to be missed.

ICA

The November meeting of Kilkerley ICA Guild will be held in the Community Centre this Wednesday, November 9, at 8.00pm. The annual Mass for the deceased Guild members will be celebrated in the Church of the Immaculate Conception at 7.30pm on the same night. We hope to have a special guest at the meeting so all members are invited to attend and new members especially welcome. Members who have ordered tickets for the Christmas Party night in An Grianan on Friday December 9, are requested to submit payment for them this Wednesday night.

CRAFT CLASS

Craft Class takes place in Kilkerley Community Centre each Wednesday morning from 10.00am to 12 noon. Bring your own Craft, learn something new and make new friends.

YOGA CLASS

The Yoga Class continue in the Gym of Kilkerley Community Centre each Monday morning from 10.00am to 11.00am with our Yoga teacher Michael. All welcome so come along.

MASS OF THE ANGELS

A Mass for all the little children who died before or after birth will take place on Friday November 18, at 7.30p.m. in Kilkerley. This is also the first anniversar­y of little Colm McElroy. Light refreshmen­ts will be served after Mass in the Community Centre.

TRÓCAIRE

Trocaire are recruiting new volunteers for the Trócaire Armagh Ambassador programme in the diocese. This programme began in September 2015. Already we have 17 Ambassador­s. Mass on Fridays, from December, Mass will be celebrated in Knockbridg­e each Friday at 9.30am. except on the 1st Friday of the month when Mass will be celebrated at 7.30p.m in Kilkerley.

The Parish Finance Committee will meet in the Parochial House at 8.30p.m. on Wednesday, November 16.

The Pastoral Area Resource Team (P.A.R.T) will meet this Wednesday November 9, in Knockbridg­e School at 8.00p.m.

RECENT DEATHS

Sympathy is extended to Noel McElroy and family Cortial, and relatives on the death of his wife Eileen who was laid to rest in Kilkerley Cemetery on Monday of this week.

POP UP SHOP

Kilkerley National School Parents Associatio­n are hosting a pop up shop in the Long Walk Shopping Centre from November 24 to November 26. As we are running the shop over 3 days this year we really need as many donations as possible.

If you would like to avail of this opportunit­y to declutter your home, we would be delighted with toys, small items of furniture, CDs, DVDs, bric a brac, handbags, clothes of good quality, unwanted Christmas decoration­s etc. All donations may be dropped into the Community Centre during opening hours.
