Healthcare graduates honoured at ceremony
Twelve accomplished healthcare support graduates were honoured at an awards ceremony in the Lisdoo recently.
The proud graduates were among family and friends as they received their hard-earned Certificates of Completion in Healthcare Support from iSkill Training and Louth-Meath Education and Training Board (LMETB).
The QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support training programme has been specifically designed to meet growing national and regional skills needs in the health service sector.
Throughout their 45-week training programme, graduates completed intensive theoretical and practical training in all aspects of healthcare support. The comprehensive Healthcare Support programme - delivered by iSkill Training - provides learners with an academically robust, person-centred approach to healthcare support. Supported by hands-on work experience, Friday’s graduates have developed a wide and competent skillset to enable them progress in their careers and in future training programmes.
Presenting the awards, Chris Byrne, Managing Director of iSkill Training, warmly congratulated the assembled graduates, trainers, and support staff who devoted so much time and energy into making Friday’s ceremony a reality.
In particular, he praised the work of the programme’s lead trainer, Una McGuill, who guided and supported the learners throughout the intensive training programme. In addition, Mr Byrne also thanked LMETB for their support in facilitating the QQI Level 5 training programme.
