Tony Howley, Greenacres, and formerly of Chapel Street, Dundalk, who died peacefully at the Louth County Hospital on 5 December. Very deeply regretted by his loving family, wife Geraldine (nee Gribben), sons Colm and Conor, daughters Sinead and Fiona, grandchild­ern Jake and Mya, brothers Sean, Gerard and David, sisters Olive, Angela and Jacinta, sonsin-law, daughter-in-law, nephews, nieces, family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Caroline Breen, Cedarwood Park, Cox’s Demesne, Dundalk, who died suddenly on 4 December at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Very deeply regretted by her heartbroke­n family, daughters Séauna and Aine, parents Gerry and Maureen (née Carroll), brother Gerard, sisters Maria, Sinead and Antoinette, nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, cousins extended family relatives, neighbours and friends.

Eamonn McGuirk, Nicholas Street and formerly of Hyde Park, Dundalk, who died suddenly at his residence on 4 December. Beloved husband of Rosena (née) Crawley. Very deeply regretted by his loving wife, son Eamonn, daughters Carol, Fiona and Siobhan, sister Gretta Brannigan, sons in-law John, David and Thomas, grand-children Shane, Nicole, Kerri, Clara, Karli, Lee, Zoe and Cori, great-granddaugh­ter Erin, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Seamus Sweeney, The Moorings, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, former principal of St. Laurance’s School, Omeath, Co. Louth, who died peacefully on 3 December in Cluain Lir Care Centre, Mullingar, after a long illness. Dearly loved husband of Ann, adored father of Cathal, Dara, and Áine, cherished grandfathe­r of Daniel and Ciarán. Sadly missed by his loving family, sisters Kathleen and Noreen, brother Don, son in law Matthew, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Geraldine Burford, (née McKevitt), Speke, Liverpool and formerly Dundalk Road, Carlingfor­d, who died suddenly on 2 December.

Jim McKeever Snr., Fatima Park., Dundalk, who died peacefully at his residence on 3 December, surrounded by his loving family. Jim, predecease­d by his wife Liza and son Richard. Very deeply regretted by his sons Willie, Gerry, Jim and John, daughters Kathleen, Ann, Dolores and Sharon, brother Willie, sisters Margie Fox, Bernie Broadhurst, Maura Grimmes, Shiela O’Rourke, Kathleen Doyle and Dolores Cassidy, sons in-law, daughters in-law, brothers and sister in-law, grandchild­ren, great-grandchild­ren, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family relatives, wonderful neighbours and friends. Reposing at his residence, Fatima Park, from Saturday night 9pm and Sunday morning 10am. Removal on Monday afternoon at 12.45pm, proceeding on foot, to Saint Joseph’s Church, Castletown, Fatima, arriving for Funeral Mass at 1pm.

Kathleen O’Hare (née Boyle), 62 Finnegans Roadd, Dromintee, Co. Armagh, and formerly of Formerly of Cloughoge and Kilkerley, Dundalk, who passed away peacefully at Glencarron Home on 3 December, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Thomas Joseph O’Hare. Much loved mother of Michelle, Áine, Colm and Yvonne, sister of Catherine Healy. Sadly missed by son-in-law Patrick and daughter-in-law Orla, loving grandmothe­r to all her grandchild­ren. Reposing at her late residence until requiem mass on Monday at 11am in St Patrick’s Church, Dromintee. Burial afterwards at Milltown cemetery, Kilkerley, Dundalk.

George Moore, Dowdallshi­ll, Dundalk, retired ticket collector, Clarke railway station, Dundalk, who died peacefully at home on 1 December. Sadly missed by Kathleen, Veronica and Penny, his nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Reposing at home from 5pm on Thursday. Removal on Saturday at 10.40am, to the Mortuary Chapel, Dowdallshi­ll, arriving for Mass at 11am.

Peter O’Neill, Dawestown, Ravensdale and formerly North Commons, Carlingfor­d, who died peacefully in St. James’ Hospital, Dublin on 30 November. Very deeply regretted by his sister Alice Traynor, brother-in-law Michael and all his nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Reposing at the residence of his sister Alice, Tulla, Omeath, Co. Louth from 7.30pm Thursday. Removal on Saturday morning at 10.15am to St. Laurence’s Church, Omeath for Funeral Mass at 11.00am.

Norah Woods, Highfield Road, Dublin, 6, born in New York and formerly Knockabbey, Louth Village, who died peacefully in the gentle care of Sheila Dillon and the staff of Cedar House Nursing Home, Dublin 14 on December 1. Norah beloved sister of Frank (Newry) and Carmel (Hogarth, Glasgow), predecease­d by her brothers Tommy and MJ, and sisters Sally and Regina. Deeply regretted by her brother, sister, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandniece­s, grandnephe­ws, great- grandniece­s, great-grandnephe­ws, relatives and friends. Reposing at Mc Geough’s Funeral Home, Jocelyn Street, Dundalk, from 4pm until 6pm on Friday. Removal on Saturday morning at 10.30am to Church of the Immaculate Conception, Louth Village, arriving for Mass at 11am.

Sean Farrelly, Dundalk, who died peacefully on 30 November. Sean, brother of the late Gerry and Rosaleen (Sheelan) and much loved uncle of Catherine and Theresa; deeply regretted by his brother-in-law Hugh Sheelan, nieces, relatives and friends. Funeral Mass on Saturday morning at 11am in the Church of St. Nicholas, Dundalk.

Matt Murphy, Mullaharli­n Road, Haggardsto­wn, Dundalk, who died peacefully at home surrounded by his family, on 29 November. Matt, beloved husband of Mary- Jane (née Califf) and dear father of Mathew, Paul, and Marguerite, dear grandfathe­r of Stephen, Richard, Amanda, Darren, Connor, Adam, Tara, Cian and Ava. Deeply regretted by his wife, sons, daughter, grandchild­ren, daughter-in-law Mary, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Removal on Friday at 10.40am to St. Fursey’s Church, Haggardsto­wn, arriving for Mass at 11am.

Dympna Woods (née McEneaney), ‘The Bungalow’, Ballyoonan, Omeath, who died peacefully on 29 November at The Mater Private Hospital, Dublin. Very deeply regretted by her beloved husband Peter, son Paul and grandchild­ren. Also by her sisters May Mitchell, Bernadette O’Hanlon and Sheila Dawson, sisters-in-law May Mc Eneaney, Anne Lambe and Eileen McDonnell, brothers-in-law Richard Dawson, Joe O’Hanlon and Leo Lambe, relatives and friends.
