CRAFT CLASS

Craft Class takes place in Kilkerley Community Centre each Wednesday morning from 10.00am to 12 noon. Bring your own Craft, learn something new and make new friends.

BOWLS

Kilkerley Bowls Club continue each Wednesday from 7.45pm to 10.00pm in Kilkerley Community Centre. New members are most welcome to join the club.

YOGA CLASS

The Yoga Class continue in the Gym of Kilkerley Community Centre each Monday morning from 10.00am to 11.00am with our Yoga teacher Michael. All welcome so come along.

CIRCUIT CLASSES

FITnatic Circuit Classes continue on Monday and Wednesday nights 7.30pm to 8.15pm in Kilkerley Community Centre, Ladies and gents welcome.

CAKE SALE

There will be a cake sale in memory of Michael Corrigan RIP, Kilkerley, in our local Community Centre this Saturday, December 10, after 6.00pm mass, and this Sunday after 10.00am mass.

This is a final push to raise enough funds to purchase a special hoist, costing €7,000, for patients in the Stroke Rehabilita­tion Unit at the Louth County Hospital. Stephen O’ Hanlon raised an incredible €5,100 in his Sponsored Dublin City Marathon run and he is very grateful to all who sponsored him. The hoist will be dedicated to the memory of the late Michael Corrigan.

The Community Centre will be open on Saturday evening after 5.30pm and on Sunday morning after 9.30am. All contributi­ons of baking/confection­ary will be greatly appreciate­d.

FOROIGE

The local Foroige Club continued activity on Friday last in the Community Centre with Christmas craft project night. Leaders are badly needed to run a bigger successful club. If you are interested in volunteeri­ng for Leader role please contact the Foroige Club.

PARISH NEWS

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament takes place each Friday from 6.30p.m.-7.30p.m.

Mass will be celebrated in Knockbridg­e each Friday at 9.30am. except on the 1st Friday of the month when Mass will be celebrated at 7.30p.m in Kilkerley.

Feast of the Immaculate Conception will be celebrated this Thursday December 8, and it is a Holy Day of Obligation with Mass on Wednesday (Vigil) at 6.00p.m.

A joint meeting of the Parish Pastoral Councils of Kilkerley and Knockbridg­e will take place this Wednesday evening December 7, at 7.30p.m. in Knockbridg­e Parochial house.

The Family Tree Healing Mass is on December 13, at 8.00p.m The Mass will be preceded by Confession­s.

The children preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmati­on in Kilkerley will have a ‘Ceremony of Light’ in the church on Wednesday, December 14, at 7.30p.m. Please note this will also incorporat­e the Annual Penance Service for all parishione­rs.

The Sacrament of Confirmati­on will take place in Kilkerley on February 17, at 11.00a.m. Archbishop Eamon Martin is scheduled to celebrate the ceremony. Do This in Memory Mass is this Sunday at 10.00am.
