ARDEE’S BIG BAFTA NIGHT
Dedication to customers recognised
IT was glitz and glamour all round as the Ardee Traders hosted the annual BAFTAs at the Nuremore Hotel on Saturday.
As well as being a memorable night out, there were a few gongs to be handed out - and all richly deserved.
Amongst the award winners were Noelle Douglas, the Businesswoman of the Year, and Paul Farrell, the Businessman of the Year, McGoey’s Pharmacy for customer service, Ardee Concert Band (Best Community Group), Keith Kerr for best newcomer, while Callaghan’s Butchers won the Age Friendly award.
Another award went to Willie Martin for his efforts in getting the story of the Wild Goose Lodge to the big screen.
