Marie Lynn (née Norton), Rock Road, Blackrock, whose death occurred on 10 February, 2017. Predecease­d by her beloved husband Eamon and baby daughter. Dear sister of Derek, Nuala, Doris and the late Gerard and Eva. She will be sadly missed by her sorrowing brother, sisters, sister-in-law Mairead, brother-in-law Robert, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at home from 3pm-6pm on Sunday. Removal on Monday at 12.15pm, to the Church of the Holy Family, arriving for Mas at 1pm. Funeral afterwards to St. Patrick’s Cemetery.

Teresa Hughes (née Halligan), 13 Doolargy Avenue, Muirhevnam­or, Dundalk, and formerly Derrybeg Park and Greenfield Park, Newry, who died peacefully, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda on 8 February, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Patrick and dear mother of Kathleen, Elizabeth, John, Angela, Lorraine, Patricia and the late Michael and Patrick. She will be sadly missed by her sorrowing daughters, son, sons-in-law Raymond and Paul, grandchild­ren, great-grandchild­ren, brother Kevin, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at home from 6pm on Thursday. Removal on Saturday at 10.20am, to the Church of the Holy Family, Muirhevnam­or, Dundalk, arriving for Mass at 11am. Funeral afterwards to Monkshill Cemetery, Newry, arriving 1.15pm approx.

John Kearney, Ashling Park, Cox’s Demesne, Dundalk, who died suddenly on 8 February, 2017. Predecease­d by his dad Hubert (Boo) and niece Kenzie. Very deeply regretted by his loving mother Attracta (née Gray), son Keelan, brothers Jason, Fra and Dean, sisters Lorraine, Julie, Michelle and Samantha, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at the family home, 481 Ashling Park, from Friday morning 11am to 8pm. Removal on Saturday morning at 10.30am, proceeding on foot to The Church of The Holy Redeemer, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Following Mass the Funeral Cortege will walk back to the family home, then drive on to Saint Patrick’s Cemetery for burial.

Mary Kieran (née McShane), Proleek, Ravensdale and formerly Ballinamar­a, Riverstown, Dundalk, who died peacefully in the tender and dedicated care of the staff of St. Cecelia’s Ward, St. Oliver Plunkett Hospital on 8 February, 2017. Beloved wife of Leo and dear mother of Martin and Lynda. She will be sadly missed by her sorrowing husband, son, daughter, daughter-in-law Elaine, son-in-law Paddy, grandchild­ren Lisa, Leanne, Eimear, Aisling and Dillon, sister Liley, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at St. Oliver Plunkett Hospital for family only on Thursday from 7pm-10pm. Reposing at the family home on Friday from 12 noon, all welcome. Removal on Saturday at 1pm, to St. Mary’s Church, Ravensdale, arriving for Mass at 1.30pm. Funeral afterwards to Calvary Cemetery.

Brendan McGahon, Annaverna, Ravensdale, and formerly of Faughart Terrace, St. Mary’s Road, Dundalk, who died peacefully in the Louth County Hospital on 8 February, 2017. Brendan (former Fine Gael T.D.), beloved husband of the late Celine (Lundy) and dear father of Robert, Conor, Adele, Keith and Jill. Deeply regretted by his sons, daughters, grandchild­ren, great-grandchild, brother Johnny, sisters Anita Murphy, Mary Cotter, Julie McMahon, and Marcella McBride, sons-in-law Alan Nordone, and Henry Back-Herk, Conor’s partner Gabriel Rossi, Keith’s partner Frances O’ Neill, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at McGeough’s Funeral Home, Jocelyn Street, Dundalk, from 2pm until 8pm on Friday. Removal on Saturday morning at 10.50am to St. Patrick’s Cathedral arriving for Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery.

Stephen Rice, Greenore Road, Carlingfor­d, who died peacefully at his residence on 8 February, 2017. Beloved husband of Joan and dear father of P.J., Conleth, Leontia, Richella and the late Martine and Majella. Paul McGoldrick, Greaghdrum­mit, Carrickmac­ross, Co. Monaghan, and formerly, Blackrock, Co. Louth, whose death occurred on 6 February, 2017. Pre-deceased by his mother Mary. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family, his wife Niamh, son Oisín, daughter Sadhbh, father John, aunt Bridget (Scanlon), father and mother in-law Paul & Patricia Gogarty, sister-in-law Ciara, brothers-in-law Paul and Cathal, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and a large circle of friends. Reposing at his residence on Wednesday from 3pm until 8pm and again on Thursday from 3pm until 8pm. Funeral proceeding on foot on Friday morning from The Bridewell at 11:40am to arrive at St Joseph’s Church, Carrickmac­ross for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in St Joseph’s Cemetery, Carrickmac­ross.
