HUGE INTEREST AND EXCELLENT RESULTS AT LAND AUCTION

PROPERTY Partners Laurence Gunne have sold at auction, two portions of land. The first, 50.5 acres at Grangebell­ew, Drogheda, Co. Louth located on the Grangebell­ew to Drogheda Road was an attractive holding in one division. The property was offered for sale by public auction last Thursday in the Monasterbo­ice Inn to a crowded room. Bidding started for Auctioneer Stephen Gunne at €400,000 and sold after 29 bids for €600,000, representi­ng a price of €12,000 per acre. On the same day 7.5 acres at Charlevill­e was offered for sale by auction. The land comprised a compact plot just off the motorway. Bidding started at €30,000 and was eventually sold after 31 bids for €76,000.

Grangebell­ew offered an ideal opportunit­y to acquire 50 acres in one holding and interest was excellent. The lands at Charlevill­e offered a location close to the motorway.’ The company, Property Partners Laurence Gunne have recently sold 111 acres at Kilcurry, Dundalk for an undisclose­d sum.
