PARISH NEWS
The Sacrament of Confirmation will take place in Knockbridge on Friday, April 7, at 11.00am. Archbishop Eamon Martin is scheduled to celebrate the ceremony. Confessions will be available on Monday from 9.30pm -10.00pm, at the end of Eucharistic Adoration, and at any time ‘by request’. Knockbridge Parish Finance Committee will meet on Monday, March 13, at 8.00pm in the Parochial House. The best way to book Masses is to call to the sacristy before or after Mass any day (Monday evening; Wednesday and Friday mornings–except First Friday; Saturday evening, or Sunday morning), as the Mass book is usually kept there. Fr. Paddy would like to offer a small two or three week course called “Everything you wanted to know about the Bible, but were afraid to ask!” It will take place in St. Mary’s church , Knockbridge on Wednesday nights, during Lent, beginning on March 22, at 8.00p.m. (when/if sufficient people have confirmed interest). The Sacrament of First Penance (1st Confession) will take place on Tuesday March 14, at 7.30p.m. Let us pray for the children who are preparing to receive the healing grace of this sacrament.
