Ann Crawley (née McGuirk), Hartstown, Dublin, and formerly Dundalk, whose death occurred peacefully at Beaumont Hospital on 13 March, 2017. Ann, beloved wife of Seamus, dear mother of Carol, David, Alan and Joanne and grandmothe­r of Dean, Liam, John, Danielle, Aisling, Jamie and Alan. Sadly missed by her loving family, brother Oliver, son-in-law Pat, daughter-in-law Tracey, relatives and friends. Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Clonsilla. Removal to St. Ciaran’s Church, Hartstown on Wednesday morning arriving for Requiem Mass at 10.00am followed by burial in Mulhuddart Cemetery.

Des Gardiner, 113 New Muirhevna, Dundalk, whose death occurred on 11 March, 2017, peacefully, surrounded by his family in the kind and gentle care of the staff at Dealgan House Nursing Home. Beloved husband of Connie and cherished father of Tina, Brenda and James. Des will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife, daughters, son, sons-in-law Paul and James, doting grandchild­ren Clodagh, Clíodhna, Deiribhile, Seamus, Dara, Luke and Isobel, brother Kevin, sisters Pauline, Nuala, Pat and Nodie, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends. Reposing at his home on Sunday between 5 o’clock and 9 o’clock and on Monday between 3 o’clock and 8 o’clock. Removal on Tuesday morning at 10.30am to St Joseph’s Redemptori­st Church, arriving for 11 o’clock Funeral Mass. Thereafter to Dardistown Crematoriu­m, Dublin.

Brigid Bridie Rice (née Ryan), St. Michael’s Terrace, Carlingfor­d, whose death occurred peacefully on 12 March, 2017, surrounded by her family in the kind and gentle care of the staff at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Patrick (Pat), brother Mick, sister Kathleen. Cherished mother of Phil, Bernie, Breda, PJ, Martin, Seán, Dermot, Michael and Ciarán. Bridie will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchild­ren, great-grandchild­ren, brother Seamus, sisters-in-law Jean and Rose, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends. Reposing at her residence from 4 o’clock Tuesday afternoon and from 12 noon on Wednesday. Removal on Thursday morning at 10.30am to St. Michael’s Church, Carlingfor­d, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock, followed by burial in St. Michael’s Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Eileen Lennon (née Boylan), Derryfalon­e House, Hackballsc­ross, Dundalk, whose death occurred peacefully, on 11 March, 2017, surrounded by her loving family, in the tender loving care of the staff of St Francis Nursing Home, Mount Oliver, Dundalk. Eileen, beloved wife of the late Terry, much loved mother of Rose Mallon, Terry, Pete, John, Anne Murphy, Joan O’Leary, Mary Carthy and Donal. Predecease­d by sons Brendan, Pat, grandson Turlough and son-in- law Brendan Carthy. Sadly missed by daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, sister-in-law, grandchild­ren and great-grandchild­ren, relatives and many friends. Reposing at home from 3pm until 9pm on Sunday, and again Monday from 3pm until 9pm. Removal Tuesday morning to The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kilkerley, for 10.30am Mass. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Brendan (Benny) Lynch, 24 Aghameen Park, Muirhevnam­or, Dundalk, and formerly Dromin, whose death occurred on 9 March, 2017, peacefully at his home. Benny, beloved son of the late Thomas and Margaret. Sadly missed by his partner Maggie and her daughter Siobhan, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at Connors Funeral Home, Dunleer, from 5.30pm until 9pm on Friday evening.

Barbara McCabe (née MacGuinnes­s), Smithstown, Julianstow­n, Co. Meath, and formerly of Stapleton Place, Dundalk, whose death occurred on 8 March, 2017, peacefully at her home. Barbara, beloved wife of Cyril and loving mum to Ciarán, Barry and Eileen, daughters-in-law Sonya and Denise, son-in-law- Leon, grandchild­ren Shéa, Caolán, Chloe, Francesca and Casey, her twin brother Derek, sisters Mary and Olive, brothers- in- law, sisters- in- law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Sr. Patricia Mary BrownF.M.S. A, Mount Oliver Convent, Dundalk, whose death occurred on 8 March, 2017, peacefully in the kind and gentle care of the staff of St. Francis Nursing Home Mount Oliver. Sr. Patricia Mary Brown F.M.S. A will be sadly missed and remembered with love by the Franciscan Missionary Sisters of Africa, her relatives, friends and staff of Mount Oliver.

Seán (John) McDermott, Dublin Road, Dundalk, whose death occurred on 8 March, 2017, at Blackrock Abbey Nursing Home, Co Louth. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Rocks) and devoted father of Gerard, Michael, Anne-Marie McQuillan and Sinéad. Former manager Dundalk Credit Union. Also survived by his grandchild­ren Shane, Ciara, Liam, Mia and Lauren; his son-in-law Brian, daughters-in-law Yvonne and Norma, brothers Tom and Michael, sisters Frances, Irene and Joan and his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predecease­d by his parents Thomas and Celia and sisters Rita, May, Lena and Sheila.

Patricia (Patsy) O’Donnell (née O’Hanlon), Clontarf, Dublin, and formerly Dundalk, whose death occurred on 8 March, 2017, unexpected­ly but peacefully at The Mater Hospital. Patricia (Patsy), beloved wife of the late Paddy and dear mother of Sean, Evelyn, Helen and Patricia. Sadly missed by her loving son, daughters, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchild­ren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Tommy Watters Snr., Saint Clements Park, Point Road, Dundalk, whose death occurred peacefully at home on 7 March, 2017, in his 100th year, surrounded by his loving family. Predecease­d by his wife Kathleen and son Noel. Mary (Mollie) McArdle (née McArdle), Belrobin, Kilkerley, Dundalk, whose death occurred on 7 March, 2017, in her 95th year, peacefully, in the tender and dedicated care of Louth County Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late John (Jack) and dear mother of Noel, Gerry, Seamus, Peter, Patsy, Marian, Eamon, Tom and Philomena. She will be sadly missed by her sorrowing sons, daughters, sonsin-law, daughters-in-law, grandchild­ren, great-grandchild­ren, her many relatives and friends.
