ON Friday night there really was only one place to be found and that was the Ramada Resort where the TY Ball was taking place and by the time we arrived the place was packed with party revellers all set to have a mad night.

I wasn’t too long in the door when I met up with some of the QBR and they included Lee Byrne, Liam McStravick, Mark Agnew, Kean McEvoy, Terrence Kelly and Brucie who were all looking very sharp in their suits and ready to party the night away with everyone else there.

Next I managed a few words with Caoimhe Kampes from Carrick Road and Faye Murray from Ravensdale who were looking exceptionally well and assured me that it was going to be anything but a quiet celebration.

After this I was lucky enough to get talking to Alanna Dowdall and Monta Ozola both from Castleross who were looking great and told me the night was going to be nothing short of massive.

Making my way through the huge crowds I then got a word with Tara McEleavey and Caitlan Gray both from Blackrock who were looking really well and they told me they were definitely there to go crazy.

Next I got a word with Michael Wehrly and Jamie Callan both from Bay Estate who told me they are from BEAR and are infinitely better than QBR, but along came Karen McGuinness from Saltown, Leanne Byrne from Louth Village and Khia Corry from Toberona who told me that the true leaders were THM. Well now at least I know!

While I was taking to them I also got a word with Lauren Byrne from Kingswood and Tom Hanratty from Lennonstown Manor who were looking great together and weren’t with any of the previous groups!

After this I headed over for a word with Ahmed Desar from Avenue Road who was having a laugh with Cara Molloy from Knockbridge, Jamie Clarke from Castletown Road and Rebecca O’Carroll from Mullaharlin Road who assured me it was going to be a totally mad night for sure.

Not too long later I got a word with Lee O’Hagan who was looking extremely well in the suit, Erin McGowan from Dromiskin looking even better in the dress and Martin McCabe from Farndreg also looking sharp who were getting ready for a totally massive night.

Another two lads who were looking well and were ready for a major night of fun were Dami Abagun from College Manor and David Odumosu from Rockfield Court who were looking for their mates who hadn’t arrived ye.

After this I caught up with Mollie Gorman and Leah Smyth from Dundalk who weren’t giving too much away but were ready to have a mad night with all their mates.

Not too long later I got talking to Tom Marley from Annagassan and Michaela Hayes from Ashling Park and Caitlin Kenneway from Kingswood who told me it was going to be anything but a quiet night and couldn’t wait for it all to get going.

After this I headed over for a chat with Sarah Mulligan from Hackballscross, Grace Greene from Ashling Park who assured me it was going to be a wild and crazy night and Celine Morgan from Avenue Road and Mead- bh McCourt from town centre could only agree with them.

I then caught up with the Carlingford Possee and they were Luke Boyle, Colin Murphy and Leah Finnegan who were definitely there to party.

Next I managed a few words with Joanna Breen from Haggardstown and Lauren Martin from Manydown Close who were joined by Ryan Mulholland from Belfry Crescent who had easily one of the best quiffs I had seen all night.

While I was talking to them I then had the pleasure of meeting Hannah Mullen from Dowdallshill, Morgan Evans from Muirhevnamor and Armand Herczeg from Greenacres who was looking extremely well all dressed in black and they tried to tell me they were going to have a nice quiet night, eh mm I’d be thinking no there lads!
