OUR last port of call on Friday night was to Grace McGeary from Priorland Grove’s 30th and the birthday girl was there with her mum Bernie and brother Chris and fiancée Liam from Silverbridge and a huge collection of family, relations and friends.

I wasn’t too long in the door when I met up with Grace who wanted a special remembrance for son Danan and to thank everyone for coming along to the party.

I then decided to have a look round to see who else was up for making it a real night to remember and met up with Harry and Fiona Campbell from Silverbridge and their three kids who all wanted to wish Grace all the best on her big night.

Not too far away I met up with Kayleigh Fisher from Finnabar Crescent who was with Michelle Rogers from Maple Close who assured me it was going to be a fantastic night with Grace and Liam.

Next I got a word with Simone Moran from Union Street who was up for making the best of the night with Petrina Carroll from Greenacres, Mags Smyth from College Manor who were all looking extremely well and were up for a major night of fun.

They were there with Edwina Dunne and Kevin Homer both from Riverside Drive, Debbie McDonagh from The Quay, Christine Sally and Damien Burke both from Bothar Na Feirme who assured me it was going to be anything but a quiet night.

I then headed over for a word with Grace’s mum Bernie who was looking extremely well and she was there with Fiona O’Reilly from Killanny, Catriona Duffy from Ravensdale, Colette Byrne from Mount Avenue, Anne Duffy from Jenkinstown, Joe and Dolores Hoey from McSwiney Street and she told me it was just a fantastic night.

Heading for another table I then caught up with father and son Niall and Oisin Byrne from Mount Avenue who were with uncle and aunt James and Philomena Hoey from Sheelagh who all wanted to wish Grace a very happy 30th.

Not too far away I then met up with Tara Tierney from Navan, Christine Woods from Priorland Grove and Aoife Gorman from Manydown Close who told me they are all friends of the birthday girl and were certainly not there just for the chicken curry!

After this I got a word with Mickey Bishop from Park Avenue who was with Justine Duffy from Ravensdale who were there to party the night away.

Heading for another table I then met up with Lisa and Christopher Woods from Bothar Na Feirme and Barry Woods from Greenacres who wanted to wish Christopher’s aunt all the best on her big night.

Making my way through the crowds I then got a word with Karen Shields from Dromiskin, Joanne Woods from Lennonstown Manor Geraldine McIntyre from Greenfield Court and Paula Cooney from Dublin Road who all wanted to wish Grace all the best on her big night.

After this I had the pleasure of meeting up with Kasey-Jane Carroll from Rock Road and Roisin Byrne from Knockbridge who wanted assured me that once they were there with Grace it was sure to be a fantastic night.

I then headed towards the bar where I caught up with Vicky, Elaine, Ann and Aine who wanted to say a big hello to Grace and hope that she had a totally mad night.

Finally, before I departed I got a word with Madeline, Ciaran and Sarah Maguire from Belfry Gardens who were with Emmauella Salako from Avenue Road who were just in and were up for making a major night of celebrations with Grace and her family.
