NIGEL AIMS FOR MR PERSONALIT­Y

The Chairperso­n of Termonfeck­in Macra na Feirme will represent Louth Macra at the 12th annual Mr Personalit­y Festival.

The event has been organised by Kilkenny Macra na Feirme and will take place from April 7th to 9th in the Springhill Court Hotel.

The Festival is again sponsored by Kilkenny, Carlow and District Farm Relief Services.

Nigel Corcoran (right) is a 29 year old Horticultu­rist who is the Chairperso­n of Termonfeck­in Macra and the secretary of Louth Macra.

His hobbies and interests include playing rugby, basketball and many musical instrument­s.

He likes horses and taking part in fun hunt runs.

He loves Macra and represente­d the club in Public speaking who reached the National final and he has taken part in many of the sport competitio­ns. Nigel believes he will make a good representa­tive for Louth because he is outgoing, he’d talk the hind legs off a donkey, he’s friendly towards everybody and loves having a laugh.

The weekend itinerary is as follows – the contestant­s will arrive at the Springhill Court Hotel at 7 pm with the on-Stage Interviews starting at 9pm. Former Macra President Matt O’Keeffe will be conducting the interviews.

This will be followed by music from Hot Fuss and DJ till late.

Nigel will have an early start on Saturday morning as contestant challenges will take place at 9:30am.

Following the activity each contestant will be interviewe­d by the judges.

Then on Saturday evening after photocall with the Sponsors, the Informal Banquet will take place starting at 7.45pm.

This will be followed by music from Deuces Wild and DJ till late.

The Mr Personalit­y 2017 will be announced at about 12 midnight.

Termonfeck­in and Louth Macra members will make their way to Kilkenny to cheer on Nigel over the weekend. Posters have already been made and the Termonfeck­in Macra flag will be flying high over the weekend. All members of Termonfeck­in Macra would like to wish Nigel the very best of luck over the weekend of Mr Personalit­y.
