SALESSENSE’S TENTH BIRTHDAY

IRELAND’S leading sales and service partner, SalesSense, whose engagement centre is based in Dundalk, celebrated its tenth anniversar­y on National Workplace Wellbeing Day at their annual conference hosted by RTE’s Sinead Kennedy in the Ballymasca­nlon Hotel last week.

Over 300 employees and partners were in attendance to mark their journey of success from a small office in Tuam, Galway to a thriving internatio­nal organisati­on with blue chip partners such as Vodafone, Bord Gais and Topaz, offices across Ireland and a string of prestigiou­s awards including Deloitte Best Managed Company (2016 and 2017), Irish Sales Champions (2014 to 2016) and the latest ISO Award for Quality in 2017.

Ger Teahon, CEO of SalesSense said: ‘Our first decade has been an incredible journey. We are both proud and humbled by the successes we have had to date.

‘Personally, I’d like to thank all our employees and clients both past and present for their hard work, support and influence over the years’.

To mark National Workplace Wellbeing Day, the company’s healthcare provider, Laya Healthcare gave a health and wellbeing presentati­on to employees and were at hand to provide advice with their health and wellbeing station during lunchtime.

Former Gurkha Officer and Angolan diamond miner who was held captive by Angolan rebels Bryan Dunlop worked with the Northern Ireland Football Team in the preparatio­n for their successful Euro 2016 campaign was also in attendance as a keynote speaker to inspire employees on the special day.

In addition, Road Safety gave safe driving tips to help all employees with a company car.

Mary Anne Flavin of Laya Healthcare said: ‘It was great to celebrate National Workplace Wellbeing Day today with SalesSense. I was delighted to help SalesSense employees with ways to improve their health by promoting physical and mindful supports and activities’.

Sinead Kennedy, RTE Presenter on The Crossing and Winning Streak was the Master of Ceremonies throughout the day and bestowed special awards to SalesSense’s most exceptiona­l employees at an awards ceremony in the afternoon.

Ms Kennedy said: “What a fantastic day! Well done to SalesSense for ten amazing years and I wish you the best of luck for the future’.
