THERE was no winner of the lotto jackpot last week. The numbers drawn were 3, 9, 17, 20. There were seven match-3 winners who receive €25 each: P. Mohan, T. Grogan, F. Dawe, F. Farrell, N. Clarke, J. Hackett and Margeret. The jackpot rises to €5,040, thanks to everyone who supports our weekly draw.

The pitch comes alive on Wednesdays as our nursery and underage players return from the winter break. Come along and join in the fun and games. All parental help appreciate­d. Training continues every Tuesday and Thursday at 7.30 for U15, 16 minor and adult grades. Numbers are encouragin­g but could be better. There was a great turnout for our annual table quiz held in Kehoe’s bar. Quay Street on Saturday night. We would like to thank our quizmaster, LMFM’s Brendan Cummins, the staff and management at Kehoe’s Bar and everyone who donated prizes for the raffle. The team of sharks who won the quiz were the O’Brien family consisting of, Martin O’Brien, Brian Gartland, Brendan Nordon and Pat O’Brien.

O Raghallaig­h’s host Sean O’Mahonys/Na Piarsaigh/Dowdallshi­ll at 7 pm on Wednesday 12th April.

Our senior team will finally have their first league game of the year on Easter Saturday evening the 15th April at 6.30 when they entertain Dundalk Gaels on the Point Road.

They are out this Sunday, 9th April in the quarter-final of the Paddy Sheelan Cup at 12 Noon on the Point Road.

After registerin­g huge numbers of underage players last Wednesday evening, anyone who missed out can register this Wednesday from 6.30 to 8pm. New players welcome.
