EMMETS Club lotto continues on Tuesday, of this week April 11, for Jackpot of €5,000. Last week’s numbers were 7, 12, 18, 26. The €20 winners were: Shaun McElroy, Brendan McNally c/o R Mulholland, Bridie Lynch c/o J McCarthy, Fionnoula Cunningham c/o P Cumiskey, Claire Lennon c/o S Lennon.

Our U12s had a very successful outing in their grading match with a fine win over Na Pairsaigh and hit the net several times early on. It was an opportunit­y for mentors to give some of the younger boys in the squad a run out.

Kilkerley Emmets Naomh Malachi U14 team had a good start to the league campaign against St Mary’s winning at home on a score of 6-9 to 0-6. The team played extremely well throughout and were not flattered by the winning margin. Team: Conall Brady, Aaron Gogarty, Niall Quigley, Ronan Deery, Kyle Mc Fadden, Conor Conway, Pauraic Mc Gee, Liam Cawley, Morgan Quigley 3 pts, Fionn Cumiskey 1pt, Aidan Corrigan 2-5, Rory Kirk 1goal, Eoin Mc Kenna 1 goal, Diarmuid Mc Eneaney 1 goal, Andrew Begley 1 goal and Rowan Harmon. Great performanc­es from all players. Next game is away to the Brides.

The minors lost 2-13 to 2-12 to Stabannon/O’Connells/John Mitchels. Best and scorers for Kilkerley/Naomh Malachi: Sean McCaughey, Andrew Connolly, Tadgh McKeown, Aaron McArdle, Tadgh Litchfield and Morgan McCaughey.
