Our U12s had a very successful outing in their grading match with a fine win over Na Pairsaigh and hit the net several times early on. It was an opportunity for mentors to give some of the younger boys in the squad a run out.
Kilkerley Emmets Naomh Malachi U14 team had a good start to the league campaign against St Mary’s winning at home on a score of 6-9 to 0-6. The team played extremely well throughout and were not flattered by the winning margin. Team: Conall Brady, Aaron Gogarty, Niall Quigley, Ronan Deery, Kyle Mc Fadden, Conor Conway, Pauraic Mc Gee, Liam Cawley, Morgan Quigley 3 pts, Fionn Cumiskey 1pt, Aidan Corrigan 2-5, Rory Kirk 1goal, Eoin Mc Kenna 1 goal, Diarmuid Mc Eneaney 1 goal, Andrew Begley 1 goal and Rowan Harmon. Great performances from all players. Next game is away to the Brides.
The minors lost 2-13 to 2-12 to Stabannon/O’Connells/John Mitchels.
