SET DANCING CLASSES

Set dancing classes continue on Monday nights in the Community Centre from 8.30pm to 10.00p.m. We extend an invite to anyone interested in learning set dancing to come along. Admission €6.

BUS SERVICE

BAPTISMS

Baptisms will take place every fourth Sunday of the month after 11.30am mass and a baptism course will be held each month with course dates posted in the Church Porch.

SCHOOL DRAMA CLUB

FEIS

The pupils of the school competed in Newry Feis last Thursday 6th April and they achieved great success. Also under the guidance of Master Paul McBride the pupils have the surrounds of the school looking beautiful after the planting of flowers and shrubs. We thank and congratula­te principal Paddy Martin all the staff and pupils on all these achievemen­ts.

MOCHTA’S LEAGUE

St. Mochtas commence their league campaign this coming Wednesday evening when the travel to Dundalk to play Na Piarsaigh in the opening round. We wish the team trainer manager and selectors all the best for a successful league campaign.

GIRL GUIDE QUIZ

The annual girl guide quiz takes place this coming Friday (Good Friday) in the community Centre Louth commencing at 8.00pm. This quiz is running for the best part of 30 years and always provides a good night’s entertainm­ent and at the same time being the main fundraiser for the guides /brownies and the leaders deserve your support as they do great work with the youngsters during the year.

EASTER ARRANGEMEN­TS

The religious arrangemen­ts for Holy Week are as follows No Masses Monday or Tuesday, Wednesday Mass as usual at 7.30 pm, Confession­s before Mass from 6.30pm until Mass time. A visiting Priest will attend for confession­s. On Holy Thursday Mass will be at 7.30pm and afterwards exposition Of Blessed Sacrament until 10.00pm. Good Friday Ceremonies commence at 3.00pm and then at 7.00pm there will be Stations of the Cross by the young people at 7.00pm. Easter Vigil begins at 8pm on Saturday. Sunday Mass As usual.
