Bay sink Redeemer in goal-fest

before that had wriggled his way into the Bay penalty box only to pull his shot wide.

Then a great run by him down the right put in Jake Clinton who was terribly unlucky when his shot rebounded off the inside of the far post and the ball scrambled away to safety.

It was no more than Redeemer deserved when Billy O’Hanlon rounded off a mazy run by Ogabamadel, and artfully cut the deficit further quickly after when he dribbled past a number of Bay players into the box on the left and shot low into the far corner of the net to leave it 5-3.

However, Chikcodzer applied the game’s crowning glory that abruptly and instantly swung the pendulum back Bay’s way. Straight from the kick-of he spotted the Redeemer goal- keeper off his line and executed the sweetest of chipped shots that sailed over the net minder and under the crossbar.

Jamie Dowdall struck number seven with his shot glancing off the head of a defender as it flew into the top corner of the net, and Stephen Williams forced home the winners final goal after a great double save by Caolam McDonagh.

Still Redeemer kept going and O’Hanlon took off on another lovely dribble, beating three players, only to shoot wide. BAY: Michael Nash, Boris Bikou, Robbie Niculae, Nathan Brown, Mason Hughes, Gerard Chikcodzer, Adam Hearty, Jamie Dowdall, Killian Cranny, Cormac Connolly, Stephen Williams.
