Anne, beloved wife of the late Sean and dear mother of Paul, Iain and Colin and devoted grandmothe­r of Sarah, Éadaoin, Hannah, Michael, Conor and Aoife and mother in law of Therese, Joyce and Brianán and sister of Christobel Clifford, Paddy Williams, and Mary Coburn. Deeply regretted by her sons, grandchild­ren, daughters in law, brother, sisters, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at her home from 11am on Monday. Removal on Tuesday morning at 10.40am to Church of the Holy Redeemer, arriving for Mass at 11 o’ clock. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.

Elsie Alderson, Saint Nicholas’ Avenue, Dundalk, whose death occurred peacefully on 5 May, 2017. Predecease­d by her parents George and Mary-Brigid, brothers Georgie and Peter, sisters Ollie, Marie and Kathleen. Very deeply regretted by her loving nephews, nieces, cousins, grand-nephews and nieces, extended family relatives, wonderful neighbours and friends. Reposing at her residence 32 Saint Nicholas’ Avenue from 11am on Saturday morning. Removal on Monday morning at 10.40am proceeding on foot to Saint Nicholas’ Church arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Funeral cortege will proceed on foot to Saint Patrick’s Cemetery for burial.

Christophe­r (Chris) Brayden, Rock Court, Blackrock, Dundalk, and formerly of Sandycove, Dublin, whose death occurred peacefully in St James’s Hospital, on 4 May, 2017, surrounded by his family. Chris, dearest and beloved husband of Irene (née Keenan), loving and devoted father of Justin, Owen and Róisín and loving son of Ken ( Willian Kenneth) and Alma and brother of Stephen, David and the late Caroline. Deeply regretted by his wife, sons, daughter, parents, brothers, brothers-in-law, sisters in law, aunts, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at his home on Sunday from 3pm until 8pm. Removal on Monday morning at 10.30am to St. Oliver Plunkett Church arriving for Mass at 11am, followed by a blessing at the Columburia­l Wall in Haggardsto­wn Cemetery. Cremation Private.

John Conlon, 13 Slieve Roe Crescent, Muirhevnam­or, Dundalk, and formerly Hughes Park, Dundalk, whose death occurred peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital on 4 May, 2017, surrounded by his family. Son of the late Lizzie and Mattie and dear brother of the late Mala. Beloved husband of Lilly and dear father of Gerard, Matthew, Paula and the late Eamon. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughter, daughter-in-law Siobhan, grandchild­ren, brothers Patsy, Peter, Kevin, Brian and Michael, sisters Kathleen, Bernadette and Marie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives and friends. Beloved husband of Margaret (nee Rafferty). He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing wife, sisters Mary and Pauline, brothers-in-law Johnny and Brendan, sisters-in-law Sheila and Mary, nieces, nephews, grandniece­s, grandnephe­ws, relatives and friends. Siobhan Toner (née Hughes), Sheeptown Road, Newry, Co. Down, and formerly of Jenkinstow­n, Dundalk, whose death occurred peacefully at Daisyhill Hospital on 2 May, 2017. Beloved wife of Kevin and darling mother of Treasa. Very deeply regretted by her loving husband, daughter, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and all the family circle. Siobhan’s remains will repose at her home from 4.00pm Wednesday, 3 May until removal on 5 May at 1.00pm, arriving for Requiem Mass at 2.00pm in St. Mary’s Church, Ravensdale. Burial afterwards in Calvary Cemetery.

Mary Hamill (née Taffe), Carrickrob­in, Kilkerley, Dundalk, whose death occurred on 1 May, 2017, peacefully, in the tender care of Dealgan House Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family. Reposing at her daughter Regina Litchfield’s residence, Plaster, Kilkerley from 6pm Tuesday until 10pm and on Wednesday from 11am till 10pm. Removal Thursday morning to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kilkerley, arriving for 11am Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Mary beloved wife of the late Owen. Much loved mother of Anne Woods, Mary O’Connor, Gerard, Regina Litchfield, sadly missed by her daughter-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchild­ren, great-grandchild­ren, relatives and friends.
