THE death took place on Sunday, 9 April, 2017, of Noel White, The Cottages, Upper Faughart, Dundalk.

He was predecease­d by his parents Thomas (Tim) and Rose Anne White, his sister Olivia Jarmin (nee White) and his brother Michael, who died in infancy.

Noel spent over 25 years working as a machine driver in England.

He never married, and dearly loved all his family, his brother Tommy, sisters Rosina, Concepta, Rita, Mary B, his sister-in-law, brothers-in-law and all his nephews and nieces.

He had a great sense of humour and loved nothing more than family get-togethers, reminiscin­g over old memories and stories being told mainly about him. He had a heart of gold.

For three-and-a-half years prior to his death he received wonderful care by all the staff at St. Peter’s Nursing Home, Castlebell­ingham. He also received wonderful care in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.

After reposing at Shevlin’s Funeral Home, removal took place to St Mary’s Church, Ravensdale for Mass on Wednesday, 12 April celebrated by Fr Brian Mac Raois and Father James Clyne.

Readings were given by his sisters, Rosina Lauri Gray and Mary White McNamee.

Prayers of the faithful were led by his nieces, Carole Donnelly, Danielle Harlowe, Donna Roman, and by his nephews, David McNamee, Adam Lauri and David Casey.

Offertory gifts were presented by brother, Tommy White, sister, Concepta Casey, and nephews David McNamee and Cathal McNamee.

The after-communion reflection was given by his sister-in-law Mary White.

The beautiful singing and music was provided by Sinead McNally and Eibhlin Crawley.

Burial took place afterwards in Calvary Cemetry, Ravensdale, Dundalk.

Month’s Mind Mass took place on Sunday, 7 May, 2017 in St Mary’s Church, Ravensdale.
