PLENTY OF STYLE AT MARSHES LADIES’ DAY AT DUNDALK STADIUM

-

The stakes were high at Dundalk stadium as the Marshes Best Dressed Lady competition got underway during the traditional 12th July meet.

Expert guest judges, Lisa from Lisa’s Lust List, Marshes Personal Stylist Rebecca McKinney, NI Gossip Guy Neil Cole and makeup artist Rosie Kirk had their work cut out to choose a winner among the super stylish fashionista’s gracing the stadium.

Racegoers were spotted by the eagle eyed judges who selected ten of the best before crowning the lucky winner, Donna Mackin.

The lady in red wowed the judges with her uniquely tailored style, a dress/trouser outfit created by Shauna Fay.

Donna is no stranger to the fashion industry, as she runs her own business Donna Mackin Millinery and Accessories.

She designed her show stopping hat worn at the race day herself, and says she is already preparing to re-create the hat in a range of colours.

Donna delighted in winning an incredible a prize as Best Dressed Lady - to the value of

€4,000 which included a 4* trip to New York as well as a luxury shopping experience at Marshes Shopping Centre.

After an incredible day both on and of the track, and sun soaked weather to boot for the entire event, organisers are already looking ahead to next year’s fabulous event!

Sean Farrell, Marshes Shopping Centre Manager added:’

The event is now firmly established as the most glamorous date in the Dundalk racing calendar and Marshes were again delighted to be working in partnership with Dundalk Stadium as the sponsor of the Annual ladies Day.

The atmosphere made it a day not to be missed, whether you’re an avid racegoer or a fashionista.’
