Kim celebrates her 21st with friends and family
FANTASTIC NIGHT IN ST JOSEPH’S CLUBROOMS
ON Saturday night we headed for St. Josephs GFC clubrooms where a 21st birthday party was being held for Kim O’Brien from Kilsaran and there to make sure she had a fantastic night were her parents Josie and Stephen, sisters Katie, Erin and Ellie, granny Marie Woods from Readypenny, girlfriend Nicola Sheerin from Hackballscross and a huge collection of family and friends.
I wasn’t too long in the door when I met up with Kim’s aunty and granny Sinead Woods from Blackrock, Marie Woods from Readypenny who both wanted to wish the birthday girl all the best on her big night.
They were sitting with cousin Rachel McElroy from Haggardstown who was there on the night with her sisters Michelle, Chloe and Kayleigh who were all up for making the best of the night with their cousin.
Seated close by were aunties Sharon Woods and Teresa McGahon both from Tallanstown, Teresa’s mum Anne McMahon from Ardee, Edel Woods from Kilsaran and uncle Sean Woods from Ardee who told me the craic was only just getting going and it was going to be a sensational night.
Not too far away I met up with cousin Martin and Michelle Quigley from Louth Village who wanted to wish Kim all the best on her big night.
After this I caught up with uncle Carl and Mary O’Brien from Mylestown who were with daughter Ciara Dunne and granddaughter Sophie Dunne who were having a fantastic night and assured me it was going to be an epic celebration.
Making my way through the crowds I then got a word with cousins Chloe McElroy from Haggardstown, Amy Manning from Kilsaran and Leah McMahon from Ardee who were all chilling and waiting for the real fun to kick off.
Meanwhile up near the bar I then got a word with Paul Gilgunne from Ballybarrack who was with Kim’s schoolmate Lina and Dermot McLoughlin from Readypenny and Barry Woods from Tallanstown who were up for a mad one and wanted to wish Kim all the best on her big night.
Heading for the seats on the dancefloor I then got talking to Matthew Reynolds from Castlebellingham, Nadine Weldon from Kilsaran who were having a time of it with Lucy Matthews from Kilsaran and Shauna McConneran from Dunleer who all wanted wish their friend Kim a very happy 21st. This sentiment was mimicked by Kim’s bestie Tara McShane from Muirhevnamor.
After this I caught up with Ryan Smith from Castlebellingham who was having a laugh with Cian O’Brien from Kilsaran.
Finally, before I departed I met up with Anne, Caoimhe, John and Thomas Woods and Peadar Kieran all from Tallanstown who were just in the door and ready to party all night long with Kim and the rest of her family.
