DEFIBRILLA­TOR

A meeting takes place in the Parochial House on Wednesday July 26 and a training night will take place this Wednesday July 19, in the Parish Centre from 7.00pm to 9.00pm. Contact Barry on 085 1181420. The official opening ceremony and blessing of the defibrilla­tor takes place on Sunday September 17 at 12.30pm with refreshmen­ts afterwards in the Parish Centre.

JOBS

If you are eligible for the Department of Social Protection (DSP) work programmes which entail 19.5 hours work each week for 12 months, there are positions available in Knockbridg­e, one for maintenanc­e in the cemetery and one for secretaria­l duty in the Parochial House.
