1 The first KAHUNA Festival is taking place at a secret location in Co Louth on Saturday, July 22, with a line up including Josh Butler, Sidney Charles, Max Chapman, Quinton Campbell, Pusher, The Midnight Disco, Shed Sessions, Codework Dubli, Tommy McCoy - The RaveCave, GET BUSY, KETTAMA. Lab Works, Induztrial, Sharky, Dolan, Tom Kip, Taroch Duffy, Accidents In The Workplace, Standard Crew Dublin, Third Smoke, The Brown Notes, PHAT KiiDZ, Low Profile, TPM and Absolute Deep.

2 Dundalk Writers Group are hosting an open garden reading in the beautiful grounds of Anaverna Hse, Ravensdale on Saturday July 22 at 2pm.

3 Visit Listoke Gallery at Listoke House and Gardens, Ballymaken­ny Road, Drogheda to see the work of several local artists in Louth Craftmark’s Summer exhibition.

4 Dundalk library is joining forces with Dogs Trust to host a Be Dog Smart Workshop tomorrow, Wednesday July 19 at 3pm. The aim of the workshop is to teach children to be responsibl­e dog owners and how to stay safe around dogs. Admission free but booking advisable.

5 What better way to spend a summer Sunday evening than listening to some traditiona­l music from local musicians in The Spirit Store. Free session downstairs in the kitchen kicks off at 6p.m.
