Mary O’Hanlon (née Clarke), Irish Grange, Carlingfor­d, whose death occurred on 13 August, 2017, peacefully at home, surrounded by her beloved family. Predecease­d by her husband Sean. Very deeply regretted by her loving daughters Briege and Geraldine and sons John, Hugh, Pat and Paul. Also by her daughters-inlaw Mary, Niamh and Karen, son-in-law Sean, grandchild­ren, great-grandchild­ren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Funeral arrangemen­ts later.

Eamon Connolly, Clanbrassi­l Street, Dundalk, whose death occurred peacefully, in the loving care of Ratoath Manor Nursing Home, Co. Meath, on 12 August, 2017. Eamon will be sadly missed by his loving family, wife Paula (née Suttle), sons John, Stephen and Mark, daughter Sarah, son-law Niall Morgan, grandchild­ren Hugo and Thady, brothers Ken and Conor, sisters Mary, Angela, Aideen and Pauline, extended family relatives and wonderful friends. Reposing at Shevlin’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street, from Monday, 12 noon to 8pm. Removal on Tuesday afternoon at 12.15pm proceeding on foot to Saint Joseph’s Redemptori­st Church, arriving for Funeral Mass at 12.30pm, followed by burial in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery Dundalk.

Dan O’Connell, Castle Park, Ashbourne, Co. Meath, and late of Dundalk, whose death occurred peacefully at home on 11 August, 2017. Predecease­d by his daughter Siobhán. Dan, loving husband of Olive and much loved father of Aileen, Róisín, Domhnall and Eamonn, is very sadly missed by his family, sisters Moya and Rosemary, sons in law Padraig and David, daughters in law Caroline and Emily, grandchild­ren, relatives and friends. Reposing at home on Saturday from 5-8pm and Sunday from 3-8pm. Removal to The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ashbourne, on Monday morning, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial immediatel­y afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Roseann Hanlon, Patrick Street North, The Laurels, Dundalk, and formerly of Ballagan, Greenore, whose death occurred on 11 August, 2017. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Reposing at Quinn’s Funeral Home, Bridge Street, from 2pm-7pm on Saturday and from 2pm on Sunday, with removal to St. Nicholas’ Church at 5.30pm, arriving at 6pm. Funeral on Monday after Mass at 1pm to St. Patrick’s Cemetery.

Eamonn Muckian, formerly Ballinahat­tna, Dundalk, Louth, and Ballyboden, Dublin, whose death occurred suddenly at home on 11 August, 2017. Youngest son of the late Peter and Sarah. Funeral arrangemen­ts later.

Kenneth Meegan, Artoney, Louth Village, whose death occurred suddenly on 9 August, 2017. Kenneth, beloved husband of Lynne (née McCrory), loving father of Ryan and dear son of Tom and May and brother of Pauline Goss, Anthony, Joan Dillon and Fiona Little. Deeply regretted by his wife, son, parents, brother, sisters, father-in-law Fra McCrory, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at his home from 2pm until 8pm on Friday. Removal on Saturday morning to Church of the Immaculate Conception, Louth arriving for Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Teresa Belinda Joyce (née Rooney), 41 Grange Drive, Muirhevnam­or, and formerly Lisdoo, Dundalk, whose death occurred peacefully, in the tender and dedicated care of the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, surrounded by her loving family, on 9 August, 2017. Beloved wife of the late John and dear mother of Ann, Christy, John Patrick, Kathleen, Jerry, Willie and the late Nora, Margaret and Martin. She will be sadly missed by her sorrowing daughters, sons, grandchild­ren, great-grandchild­ren, sons-in-law, daughtersi­n-law, relatives and friends. Reposing at home from 8pm on Thursday. Removal on Monday at 10.30am, to the Church of the Holy Family, arriving for Mass at 11am. Funeral afterwards to St. Patrick’s Cemetery.

Sally Birdy (née Purcell), Old Golf Links Road, Blackrock, and formerly Carrickmac­ross, Monaghan, whose death occurred on 8 August, 2017, peacefully, at Boyne View Nursing Home, Drogheda. Sadly missed and remembered with love by her husband Paddy, daughters Estelle and Emma, sons-in-law Basil and Aaron, grandchild­ren Annaig, Tuán, Caitlin, Saoirse, Lúmí, Mara and Etain, her brothers Tom (Canada), Seamus (Tipperary), sister Mary (Tipperary), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at her home on Wednesday, 9th August, from 2pm. Removal on Thursday, 10th August, arriving to St. Oliver Plunkett Church, Blackrock, for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Carrickmac­ross.
