Bridie Keating (née Cunningham), Ard Easmuinn, Dundalk, whose death occurred peacefully, in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, on 23 September, 2017. Bridie (former Secretary and Director of Don Keating Wholesale), beloved wife of Don and dear mother of Michael, Bernadette, Fiona and Donal, loving grandmothe­r of Kyle, Jordan, Preston, Eoghan, James, Callum, Stephen and the late Ciara. Deeply regretted by her husband, sons, daughters, grandchild­ren, sons-in-law, Aidan Brennan and Michael Flynn, daughters-in-law, Barbara and Grainne, Eoghan’s partner Melanie, sisters Lily Hamilton, Kathleen Clarke, Josephine Foster, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at her home from 4pm until 10pm on Sunday and from 2pm until 10pm on Monday. Removal on Tuesday morning at 10.30am to St. Brigid’s Church, Kilcurry, arriving for Mass at 11 am. Eileen Lever (née Conlan), Byrne’s Lane, Dowdallshi­ll and formerly The Laurels, Dundalk, whose death occurred peacefully on 19 September, 2017, peacefully, in the tender and dedicated care of the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Beloved wife of Brian and dear mother of Andrew, Nigel, Philip and Juliet. She will be sadly missed by her sorrowing husband, sons, daughter, grandchild­ren, brother Gerry, sister Dympna (Rice), sister-in-law Marie, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at Quinn’s funeral home, Bridge Street, from 4pm-6pm on Sunday. Removal on Monday, September 25, to St. Joseph’s Redemptori­st Church, via The Laurels, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by private cremation.

Victor McBride, Tullaycaha­n, Louth Village, whose death occurred peacefully in the wonderful care of Moorhall Lodge, Ardee, on 21 September, 2017. Victor, beloved brother of Anne, Brigid Nolan, Angela Kenny and Georgina Thornton. Deeply regretted by his sisters, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends. Mary, beloved wife of the late Sean and dear mother of Ann, Dympna, Bernie and Linda and loving grandmothe­r of Sarah, Sean, Tara, Ewan, Emma, Ellie and Alfie, mother-in-law of Fred McEleavey, Kevin McGeeney, Stephen McEvoy and David McCourt, brother Michael Carry sisters Brigid McArdle and the late Rita Carry. Mary Byrne (née Murphy), formerly of Carroll Mead, Dundalk, and Grange Drive, Muirhevnam­or, Dundalk, whose death occurred peacefully in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, on 20 September, 2017, after being wonderfull­y cared for by Dealgan Nursing Home. Mary beloved wife of the late Arthur and dear mother of Briege, Frank, Geraldine and Brenda, grandmothe­r of Christophe­r, James, Jennifer, Ryan, Padraig, Sinead and Conor, great-grandmothe­r of Rayn, Skye, Alaya and Jacob, sister Lily. Deeply regretted by her son, daughters, grandchild­ren, sonsin-law, daughter-in-law, granddaugh­ter-in-law, sister, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, niece, relatives and friends. Jimmy Magee, Kilmacud, Dublin, and formerly of Cooley, Co. Louth and New York, whose death occurred on 20 September, 2017; peacefully, after a short illness at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Marie and loving father of Linda, June, Patricia, Mark and the late Paul. He will be sadly missed by his family, sister Mary, his eleven grandchild­ren, extended family, colleagues and his close friends. Rosie, predecease­d by her husband (Big) Jim. Very deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving daughters Majella Keating and Cathy Cousins, sons-in-law Brian and Graham, grandchild­ren Dan Keane, Rosie and Rhys Cousins, nephews, nieces, extended family relatives, wonderful neighbours and friends. Tom O’Reilly, formerly of Saint Alphonsus Road, Dundalk and Darver, Dundalk, and Donabate, Dublin, whose death occurred on 17 September, 2017, in his 98th year, peacefully, in the love and tender care of the nurses and staff of Lusk Community Nursing Home. Tom, a life-long member of St Vincent de Paul. Predecease­d by his wife Alice (née Smyth). Very deeply regretted by his loving family, daughters Patricia McKiernan and Gerardine Traynor,extended family relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at the residence of his daughter, Gerardine Traynor, Prospect Hill, Donabate, from 5pm on Monday evening.
