KATE CELEBRATES 21ST BIRTHDAY WITH HER FAMILY

-

On Saturday night there really was only one place to be and that was the Clans Clubrooms where Kate Curran from Marian Park was celebrating her 21st birthday with a party and there to make sure she had an excellent night were parents Caoimhe and Gerry, brothers Robbie and Gerard, sister Therese, grandparents Mary and Tony Curran and Maurice Harrison Snr and boyfriend Rian McGoldrick from Armagh and a huge collection of family, workmates and friends.

Kate works in Eclipse hair salon in the Long Walk Shopping Centre and wanted to thank everyone for coming and hoped they all have a lovely night.

I then headed over for a chat with Orlaith Harrison from Newtownbalregan, Eryn Traynor from Kilcurry, Mia Rogers from Marian Park and Lee Lawlor from Toberona who all wanted to wish Kate a very happy birthday on her big night.

Heading for an adjacent table I got a word with uncle Maurice and Paula Harrison from Quality Street who were with Marie and Claire Kirby from Thomas Street and Claire’s main squeeze, Kate’s brother Gerard from Marian Park who were definitely going to make it a real night to remember.

I then headed over for a word with the man himself, grandad Maurice Harrison from Cedarwood Park who wanted to wish his granddaughter a very happy birthday and he hoped she had a lovely night. He was sitting talking to his son Darren from Dowdallshill who was with wife Fiona and kids Marc, Ardal and Nathan.

Also in their company were Laurie and uncle Adrian Harrison from Cavan, aunty Regina and David Flynn from Ashling Park, aunty Breffni, Ciaran, Jake, Stephen and Turlough Kelly from Willville who were all in great form and ready for a major party.

Making my way over to another table I then got talking to Nottingham Forrest supporter Adrian King from Kerry who was with aunty Maura and kids Sinead and Roisin and he assured me it was going to be an epic night for sure.

Also at the same table I then met up with Conor and Michelle Quigley from Avenue Road who were having a laugh with granda Tony Curran from Ashling Park who were up for a major night of fun.

After this I met up with Liam O’Hagan who was with wife aunty Anne and kids Aine, Siobhan and Sarah who were in great form and wanted to wish Kate all the best on her big night. Also in their company were Mary McGee from Rockmarshall who was with Siobhan and Aidan Curran from Kilcurry, Roisin Coleman from Ashling Park, granny Mary Curran from Ashling Park and Rian’s parents Joanne and Tony McGoldrick from Armagh who told me it already was a brilliant night and were sure it was going to get better.

I then headed for a table where I met up with some of Kate’s workmates from Eclipse and they were Sionán Cassidy from Redbarns Road, Abbie McDonald from Farndreg and Chloe Dollard from Ard Easmuinn who told me they were going to have a mad one with their friend Kate no matter what.

Seated close by were Kate’s cousin Rebecca Toner from Castle Park and her boyfriend Padraic Cooney from Blackrock who were up for making it a real night to remember.

After this I caught up with the man on his best behaviour Rian McGoldrick from Armagh who was having a laugh with Brendan Manning from Wexford and Caleb Murtagh from Fatima who were going to have a mad with the birthday girl.

Finally, before I departed I got a word with Lauren Duffy from Belfry Drive, Eileen, Johnny and Caragh Duffy from Nicholas Avenue, Lauren’s dad Brian from Belfry Drive and Thomas Rogers from Marian Park who was with daughter Mia and they assured me it was going to be a nice respectable celebration. The Duffy’s and the Harrison’s out together, mmm no, ‘nice and respectable celebration’ aren’t words that fit together when these family go out to enjoy a 21st!
