50 years ago in Dunleer

A well-known Mld-Louth couple, Mr. and Mrs. John Griffin, Stonehouse, a few miles south of Dunleer (on the Gaulstown Road.) were the recipients of many congratulatory messages on celebrating the Golden Jubilee of their marriage. Mr. Griffin, a native of Skryne, Tara, was known to all his friends as Jack Griffin. His wife, nee Mary Jane Mynes, hailed from Mooretown, Dromiskln.
