The death has occurred of Marie Smythe (née Woods), 21 Árd Easmuinn, Dundalk peacefully in the kind and gentle care of the staff at The Louth County Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Eric and cherished mother of Roy, Paul and Eric. Reposing at Dixons Funeral Home, Maxwell Row, Bridge Street, Dundalk on Friday between 4 o’clock and 8 o’clock. Removal on Saturday morning at 10.30 to 21 ÁRD Easmuinn arriving at 10.45 and proceeding on foot to The Church of The Holy Redeemer arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock. Thereafter to St Patrick’s Cemetery for burial.

The death has occurred of Jonathan Wogan, Blackrock, Hua Hin, Thailand and formerly of Blackrock, Co. Louth 20th December 2017 suddenly in Hua Hin, Thailand. Beloved husband of Zulee and father of Mila. Survived by his parents John and Nora, sister Siobhán, brothers Alan, Niall, Ronan and David.

The death has occurred of Ann Duffy (née Fisher), Beechmount Drive, and formerly St. Nicholas’ Avenue, peacefully, in the tender and dedicated care of the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Beloved mother of Josephine and Sandra and adored nanny of Anna, Dean, Jessica, Niamh and Lucy.

The death has occurred of Tommy McAllister, peacefully, at Carlingfor­d Nursing Home. Very deeply regretted by his relatives and friends.

The death has occurred of John Gray (Snr) Bishop’s Court and formerly of McSwiney St, Dundalk peacefully surrounded by his family in the love and tender care of Castleross Nursing Home, Carrickmac­ross. Predecease­d by his parents John and Mary (née Doran), John beloved husband of Mary (née Clarke) and loving dad of Bernard, Melinda and John. Very deeply regretted by his devoted wife, sons, daughter, brothers Bernard (Bino) and Noel, sisters Betty Bull (Birmingham) and Geraldine Conachy, daughtersi­n-law Caroline, Sandra and Anne, grandchild­ren Isabelle, Lauren and John, uncle Frank, brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, relatives, wonderful neighbours and friends.

The death has occurred of Eugene Quigley, Mounthamil­ton Close, Dundalk suddenly in the Mater Private Hospital. 17th December 2017. Eugene, much loved husband of Phil née Mc Keever and dear father of Aoife and Aidan, brother of Ann Mc Quillan, Noel and Sandra, father-in-law of James Murray, Aidan’s girlfriend Paula. Deeply regretted by his wife, son, daughter, brother, sisters, sonin-law, brothers-in-law, sisters- in-law, uncle, aunts, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at his home from 2pm until 9pm on Thursday. Removal on Friday morning to Church of the Holy Redeemer, arriving for Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. House private on Friday morning.

The death has occurred of Robin Rauf, College Heights, Hoeys Lane, Dundalk, peacefully, in the tender and dedicated care of the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Beloved husband of Parveen and dear father of Asif, Azam, Nabila, Anila, Saima and the late Rozina. He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing family, w relatives and friends. Prayers at Quinn’s Funeral Home, Bridge Street, Dundalk on Friday, 22nd December at 7pm. Removal on Saturday to the Church of the Holy Family, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
