Man charged after gardai seize cocaine
GARDAI RECOVER COCAINE WORTH €1,300 DURING HOUSE SEARCH AT HAGGARDSTOWN
A 24 year old man has been charged after gardai seized €1,300 worth of cocaine during a raid on a house in Haggardstown on Saturday, January 13th.
The search of the house was carried out on foot of a warrant by uniformed gardai from Dundalk who discovered the cocaine and drug paraphernalia.
The 24 year old was interviewed and charged in relation to the illegal possession of drugs for sale or supply and will appear in court.
Separately, gardai also apprehended a number of people for possession of cannabis in different locations in Muirhevnamor over the weekend.
Gardai are appealing for information in relation to a burglary at Lauren Brook Gardens on Wednesday January 10th.
The occupier of the house woke up at 7am to discover that a front window in the downstairs living room had been damaged and was open.
Two rings and iPads had been taken from the kitchen between 5am and 7am that morning.

Dunalk gardai are also investigating an incident in which a man was observed breaking into a parked car at Bridge Street on Thursday January 11th at 6pm.
A number of items were stolen from the car including a protein shaker and a bag.
Five people were arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence over the past week while five people were also arrested for public order offences.
